The Gare de Mulhouse-Ville, also known as Gare Centrale, is the main railway station in the city of Mulhouse, Haut-Rhin, France. It is the eastern terminus of the Paris-Est–Mulhouse-Ville railway.

The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Mulhouse is a municipal art museum in Mulhouse, France. It originated with the Société industrielle de Mulhouse (SIM), a learned society established in 1826 by local industrialists such as Dollfus, Koechlin, and Schlumberger, which had begun collecting artworks in 1831, and was founded in 1864 by Frédéric Engel-Dollfus.

The Temple Saint-Étienne (Protestant St. Stephen's Church; Alsatian: Schtefànskerch) is a Calvinist church located in the city of Mulhouse, Alsace, France. Its congregation forms part of the Protestant Reformed Church of Alsace and Lorraine. Because of its central location on the main square of Mulhouse, the Place de la Réunion, and its 97 metre high bell tower (the highest steeple in the department of Haut-Rhin), it is sometimes referred to as the "Cathedral of Mulhouse" (Cathédrale de Mulhouse). The church was designed by the city architect Jean-Baptiste Schacre, who also designed the large Catholic St. Stephen's Church (Église Saint-Étienne).

Radio Dreyeckland is a radio station in Mulhouse, Alsace, France. Another station with the same name operates in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.Both stations are successors to Radio Verte Fessenheim which was started by opponents to the Fessenheim Nuclear Power Plant during the 1970s and was renamed 'Dreyeckland' in 1981. During the eighties and early nineties people from Switzerland were cooperating with the French Dreyeckland running broadcasts aimed at listeners in Basel and its surroundings using the transmitter in France, because they didn't have a license for Switzerland. Dreyeckland Freiburg in Germany was started as a pirate station in 1985 and has transmitted legally since 1988 as a separate station but in the same spirit as the one from Alsace. While radio Dreyeckland from southern Alsace developed into a commercial oldies radio during recent years, the German Dreyeckland is still an alternative station. Today's Radio Dreyeckland in southern Alsace is still using the 104.6 MHz of the former alternative station.

The Battle of Mulhouse took place on 29 December 1674 in Alsace, part of Turenne's Winter Campaign during the Franco-Dutch War. It was fought by the French army under Turenne and part of Alexander von Bournonville's Imperial army commanded by Hermann of Baden-Baden.Following the inconclusive Battle of Entzheim on 4 October, the Imperial army took up winter quarters around Colmar. Rather than doing the same, Turenne split up his army and traveled through the Vosges Mountains before reforming it near Belfort. Taken by surprise, Bournonville sent Hermann to hold Mulhouse, where he was attacked and defeated by Turenne on 29 December. Another French victory at the Battle of Turckheim on 5 January 1675 forced the Imperials to withdraw from Alsace.

The Musée historique de Mulhouse is a municipal history museum and archaeology museum in Mulhouse, France.It is housed since 1969 in Mulhouse's Old Town Hall, a Northern Renaissance building dating mainly from 1552, which is protected as a Monument historique since 1929.The interiors of the Old Town Hall with their intact original decoration are an integral part of the museum. The museum's medieval sculptures are on display in the neighbouring Museum of Fine Arts, such as a Saint George Slaying the Dragon from 1490, originally from Tyrol. That work, as well as many others, is on permanent loan to the municipal collections of Mulhouse by the Société industrielle de Mulhouse (SIM), a learned society established in 1826 by local industrialists such as Dollfus, Koechlin, and Schlumberger which had begun collecting artworks in 1831.

The Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération is the Communauté d'agglomération, a type of local government structure, covering the metropolitan area of the city of Mulhouse in the department of Haut-Rhin and the region of Grand Est, northeastern France. Its area is 439.2 km2. Its population was 274,066 in 2018, of which 108,942 in Mulhouse proper. The current president of the agglomeration community is Fabian Jordan, elected January 2017.

Mulhouse (pronounced [myluz] , in Alsatian Mìlhüsa [mɪlˈhyːsa] (German: Mülhausen [myːlˈhaʊzn̩] ); meaning "mill house") is a city of the European Collectivity of Alsace (Haut-Rhin department, in the Grand Est region of France), close to the Swiss and German borders. It is the largest city in Haut-Rhin and second largest in Alsace after Strasbourg. Mulhouse is known for its museums, especially the Cité de l'Automobile (also known as the Musée national de l'automobile, 'National Museum of the Automobile') and the Cité du Train (also known as Musée Français du Chemin de Fer, 'French Museum of the Railway'), respectively the largest automobile and railway museums in the world. An industrial town nicknamed "the French Manchester", Mulhouse is also the main seat of the Upper Alsace University, where the secretariat of the European Physical Society is found.

The Tour du Belvédère is a 20 metre tall observation tower located on Belvédère mountain near Mulhouse in Alsace, France. Tour du Belvédère was designed by Ph. Ant. Fauler, built in 1898 and is reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower.

The arrondissement of Mulhouse is an arrondissement of France in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region. It has 79 communes. Its population is 351,012 (2016), and its area is 707.1 km2 (273.0 sq mi).

The Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Park is a French zoological park located in the Grand Est region in the departement of Haut-Rhin, in the southeast of the city of Mulhouse, district of Rebberg. Created in 1868 by philanthropists industrialists, led by Charles Thierry-Mieg son, he was successively the property of the Cercle mulhousien, of the Industrial Society of Mulhouse, and then of the City from 1893. It is now managed by the agglomeration community of Mulhouse region, Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération. Its director is, since 2010, the veterinary Brice Lefaux. Located on the edge of the Tannenwald forest, it covers 25 hectares and present more than 900 animals of 170 species, as well as 3,500 plant varieties. Among the major park facilities are the Grand Nord area dedicated to Arctic wildlife (polar bears, muskoxen, arctic foxes...) and an Asian multispecies pen. The park holds the national label "remarkable garden" of the ministry of Culture for its botanical collections: remarkable trees, irises, peonies and rhododendrons gardens. The zoo, which is a permanent member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), is engaged in ex situ conservation by participating in European Endangered Species Programmes (EEP), which it coordinates nine of them (for five species of monkeys, three species of lemurs and one species of wallaby). It also supports in situ conservation associations working in the field and have already reintroduced animals in their natural environment, in France and in Africa. It is also a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and of Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI). In 2014, it was the eleventh zoological park of France in terms of frequentation, with 400,000 visitors.
