Jockgrim station

Jockgrim is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Germersheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde is in Jockgrim. Jockgrim is a municipality in the district of Germersheim, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the left bank of the Rhine, approximately 15 km north-west of Karlsruhe. Jockgrim is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Jockgrim. Jockgrim station is on Schifferstadt–Wörth railway and is served by the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn. In 1965, Jockgrim celebrated the 700th anniversary of the old part of town: Hinterstadtl. This picturesque area has a bi-annual festival called Hinterstadtl Fest which takes place on the first weekend of September. In 2015 they were celebrating the 750th anniversary.

Germersheim (German: [ˈɡɛɐ̯mɐsˌhaɪm] ) is a district in the south-east of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Neighboring districts are (from west clockwise) Südliche Weinstraße, Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis, the district Karlsruhe as well as the district-free city of Karlsruhe, and the French département Bas-Rhin.

Rheinzabern station is the main station in the town of Rheinzabern in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Deutsche Bahn classifies it as a category 6 station and it has two platform tracks. It is located on the network of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (Karlsruhe Transport Association, KVV). Since 2001, the station has also been part of the area where the fares of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (Rhine-Neckar Transport Association, VRN) are accepted at a transitional rate. Its address is Bahnhofstraße 26.It is located on the Schifferstadt–Wörth railway and was opened on 25 July 1876 with the commissioning of the Germersheim–Wörth section of that railway. It is now classified as a Haltepunkt (halt). Since late 2010, it has been part of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn. Since two new halts were opened at the same time in Rheinzabern, it is also sometimes called Rheinzabern Bahnhof (Rheinzabern station) including in the recorded announcements of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn.

Wörth am Rhein (German pronunciation: [vœʁt] ) is a town in the southernmost part of the district of Germersheim, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is on the left bank of the Rhine approximately 10 km west of the city centre of Karlsruhe and is just north of the German-French border. Daimler AG's largest truck production plant (2.8 km2) has been located in the town since 1960.

Wörth (Rhein) station—originally Wörth (Pfalz)—is the most important station of the town of Wörth am Rhein in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Deutsche Bahn classifies it as a category 5 station and it has five platforms. The station is located in the area of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (Karlsruhe transport association, KVV) and it belongs to fare zone 540. Since 2001, Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN) tickets are also accepted for travel to or from the VRN area. The address of the station is Bahnhofstraße 44.It was opened on 15 March 1864 as a through station on the branch of the Maximilian Railway from Winden to Maximiliansau. The gap to Karlsruhe was closed a year later. The extension of the Schifferstadt–Gemersheim railway and its continuation to Strasbourg turned it into a junction station on 15 May 1876. A branch of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn was built through the residential area of Dorschberg in 1997. Its entrance building is under heritage protection.

The Maxau Rhine Bridges (Rheinbrücken Maxau) connect the Baden-Württemberg city of Karlsruhe and the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Wörth in Germany. They cross the Rhine in the suburb of Maxau in the Karlsruhe district of Knielingen and the Wörth suburb of Maximiliansau. The Hofgut Maxau (Maxau estate), established by Maximilian von Baden (1796–1882), younger son of Charles Frederick, Grand Duke of Baden, that Maxau is named after is located on the east bank of the Rhine near the bridge. Today there are two parallel bridge structures for road and rail traffic.

Rülzheim is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Rülzheim. Rülzheim station is on Schifferstadt–Wörth railway and is served by the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn.
