Le Bosquet is a station in the city of Cannes, southern France. The station opened on 10 April 1870 when the line from Grasse to Cannes opened to passengers. Due to its position on a branch line from Grasse near the La Bocca Junction, it is close to its main line counterpart of La Bocca. Le Bosquet is situated on the picturesque single line to Grasse, reopened in 2004.

Cannes-la-Bocca station (French: Gare de Cannes-la-Bocca) is a railway station in the city of Cannes, southern France. The station opened on 10 April 1863 when the line from Les Arcs to Cagnes-sur-Mer (part of the Marseille–Ventimiglia railway) opened to passengers. The station is both a passenger station and a goods/maintenance depot. Engine maintenance was transferred from Cannes-Ville in 1880 and the goods yard opened in 1883. The station is served by regional trains (TER Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) to Cannes and Nice.Cannes-La Bocca is situated alongside the beach and a connection to local ferries is possible.

Château de la Croix des Gardes, also known as Villa Perrier, is a mansion in the La Croix-des-Gardes district of Cannes on the French Riviera. It appears as the Sandford Villa in the Alfred Hitchcock's 1955 film To Catch a Thief, with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly.

Stade Pierre de Coubertin is a multi-purpose stadium in Cannes, France. The stadium was opened in 1937. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of AS Cannes. The stadium is able to hold 10,000 people.

The Villa Romée is a historic mansion in Cannes. It was built in 1928 for Marcelle Aron, the widow of Jacques Isidore Gompel, a World War I veteran. It was designed by architects Georges-Henri Pingusson and Paul Furiet. The garden was built in 1929. Aron sold the house in 1935. It has been listed as an official historical monument since 1994.

Ranguin station (French: Gare de Ranguin) is a French railway station in a suburb of Cannes, southern France. The station opened in 1871 when the line from Cannes to Grasse opened to passengers. The line saw a steady decline in passengers and the station was closed in 1995. After much work by the Comité pour la Réouverture de la Ligne SNCF Cannes-Grasse, the line and station were reopened in 2005 and the line was electrified.

The Villa Rothschild is a historic mansion in Cannes. It was built in 1881 for Betty de Rothschild (1805-1886), James Mayer de Rothschild's widow. It has been listed as an official historical monument since 1991. It was turned into a media library and carries the commercial name "médiathèque Noailles".

The Cimetière du Grand Jas (Grand Jas Cemetery) is located at 205 avenue de Grasse in Cannes on the French Riviera. The nine hectare terraced cemetery began operations in 1866 and is known for its landscaped architecture with rich floral decorations and statuary. Its "English square", or Cimetière Anglais, is the final resting place for a number of English people who made Cannes their home. It is dominated by the statue of Henry Peter Brougham, 1st Baron Brougham and Vaux who played a major role in building the city. The cemetery contains one Commonwealth war grave, of a World War I officer of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.

Le Suquet is the old quarter of Cannes, probably best known to tourists as the climbing, winding cobbled lane lined with local restaurants, Rue St Antoine. Le Suquet contains a clock tower and church that sit high facing east overlooking the Bay of Cannes and Cannes itself. At the bottom of Le Suquet on Rue Dr. P. Gazagnaire is the Marché Forville, where the market is held in the mornings and early afternoon. This area is the original fishermans' residential area of Cannes. The houses are all very old. The streets were laid out at least 400 years ago. It is a 5-minute walk from the beach and is full of restaurants around the Rue Saint Antoine and the Rue du Suquet. A lot of the area is pedestrianised and is a major tourist attraction for visitors to Cannes. The rue du Suquet is the original main road into Cannes. It came in below the walls of the castle (for defence reasons). It is a pedestrian zone and has plenty of restaurants.

The Siagne (French pronunciation: ​[sjaɲ]; Occitan: Sianha) is a river that flows through the Var and Alpes-Maritimes departments of southeast France. It is 44.5 km (27.7 mi) long. For much of its length, it forms the border between the two departments. Its drainage basin is 512 km2 (198 sq mi). Its source is near Escragnolles, flowing southeast, through Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne and Pégomas, and into the Mediterranean Sea in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Cannes.

The Cannes Film Festival (; French: Festival de Cannes), until 2003 called the International Film Festival (Festival international du film), is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France, which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries, from all around the world. Founded in 1946, the invitation-only festival is held annually (usually in May) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. The festival was formally accredited by the FIAPF in 1951.On 1 July 2014, co-founder and former head of French pay-TV operator Canal+, Pierre Lescure, took over as President of the Festival, while Thierry Frémaux became the General Delegate. The board of directors also appointed Gilles Jacob as Honorary President of the Festival.It is one of the "Big Three" major European film festivals, alongside the Venice Film Festival in Italy and the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany, as well as one of the "Big Five" major international film festivals, which consists of the three major European film festivals, the Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada, and the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, United States.
