Winmalee High School

Winmalee is a town in New South Wales, Australia. Winmalee is located 77 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD, in the local government area of the City of Blue Mountains. At the 2011 census, Winmalee had a population of 6,593.Originally known as North Springwood, Winmalee was officially established in 1972. Springwood is historically significant as the first European settlement in the Blue Mountains. Winmalee is surrounded by Blue Mountains National Park. This National Park is on the World Heritage List and is known as the Greater Blue Mountains Area World Heritage Site. The Blue Mountains area is unofficially known as "The City Within a World Heritage National Park". Winmalee extends from Birdwood Avenue and Paulwood Avenue to Coramandel Avenue and east to a point part-way along Singles Ridge Road.

The Blue Gum Swamp is a swamp located in Blue Mountains National Park in the lower Grose Valley of the Blue Mountains, in New South Wales west of Sydney, southeastern Australia. It is situated adjacent to the Blue Gum Swamp Creek near Winmalee and is within the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Greater Blue Mountains Area.

St Columba's Catholic College, formerly the St Columba's High School, is an independent Roman Catholic co-educational secondary day school, located in the Blue Mountains region, on the border of Winmalee and Springwood, in New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1979, the school is set in the grounds of the St Columba's property, which has extensive bushland surrounding the school. The property is a listed site on the Blue Mountains City Council local government heritage register.

Hawkesbury Heights is a small town in the state of New South Wales, Australia in the City of Blue Mountains. It is located between the townships of Yarramundi and Winmalee. To the south is Yellow Rock. The only road link to the suburb is Hawkesbury Road, which becomes Springwood Road to the east.

The Yellomundee Regional Park is a protected regional park that is located on the eastern escarpment of the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales in eastern Australia. The 485-hectare (1,200-acre) regional park is situated approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) north-west of Penrith and 25 kilometres (16 mi) south-west of Richmond. The park is situated in a region that is part of the Great Escarpment formed by the orogeny that created the Great Dividing Range.

Valley Heights is a small township of the City of Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. It is about 70 km (43 mi) from the Sydney central business district and is located east of the township of Springwood. At the 2006 census, Valley Heights had a population of 1,337 people.Valley Heights developed its own piece of the ridgeline that has been the main route west from Sydney since colonial history, and has some strong evidence of a rich pre-colonial inhabitance. At an elevation of 300 to 320 metres (980–1,050 ft) above sea level, the climate has been considered very conducive to a huge range of plants. The native ecological communities are fairly typical of other Hawkesbury sandstone with shale transition forests, yet exhibit the local specificness we have come to expect in the Blue Mountains, NSW. Current development is restricted by council reserves and National Park Valley Heights has a railway station, rail museum and the historic Gatekeepers cottage where the gatekeeper employed by the railway lived in the early steam era.

Buckland Convalescent Home is a heritage-listed former residence and private parkland and now convalescent hospital located at 39 Hawkesbury Road, Springwood, in the City of Blue Mountains local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Thomas Buckland and McPhee Smith and was built from 1881 to 1934 by Kell & Rigby. It is also known as Buckland Convalescent Home and Garden. The property is owned by The Buckland Convalescent Hospital. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Valley Heights railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Main Western line in Valley Heights, in the City of Blue Mountains local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by NSW Government Railways. It is also known as Valley Heights Railway Station and Locomotive Depot and The Valley. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Valley Heights Steam Tram Rolling Stock is a heritage-listed collection of tramway machinery at 17b Tusculum Road, Valley Heights, City of Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1889 to 1891. The property is owned by Steam Tram and Railway Preservation (Co-op) Society (Community Group). It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 21 October 2016.

The Valley Heights Rail Museum is a railway museum located in Valley Heights, New South Wales, Australia. The facility is located 300 metres (980 ft) north-west of Valley Heights railway station. The museum is operated by two partner organisations: The Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Heritage Museum (VHLDHM), is the Blue Mountains Division of Transport Heritage NSW. The Valley Heights Steam Tramway (a business name of the Steam Tram and Railway Preservation (Co-op) Society) is the operator of historic steam trams and trains within the former locomotive depot.
