St Petersburg-Vitebsky (Russian: Ви́тебский вокза́л) is a railway station terminal in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Formerly known as St Petersburg-Tsarskoselsky station because its first line led to the suburban royal residences town Tsarskoye Selo, it was the first railway station to be built in Saint Petersburg and the whole of the Russian Empire (while its present-day building is much newer). Later, with considerable extension of its lines, renamed after a much farther destination - Vitebsk, a city in Belarus.

Pushkinskaya (Russian: Пу́шкинская) is a station of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It first opened on 30 April 1956, under the original name of "Vitebskiy vokzal", referring to the connecting Vitebsky railway station. There is a monument in the station dedicated to the poet Alexander Pushkin sculpted by Mikhail Anikushin. This station was the first USSR metro station with memorial located under the ground.

The Russian Museum of Military Medicine (Russian: Военно-медицинский музей Министерства обороны Российской Федерации) is situated in the center of Saint Petersburg, Russia, in front of Vitebsky Rail Terminal.

The A. Bryantsev Youth Theatre (also spelled State Theater For Young Audience Named After A. A. Bryantsev or Bryantsev Young Viewers Theater; Russian: Театр Юного Зрителя имени Брянцева) is one of the first professional children's theatres in Russia, opened in 1922. In Soviet time the theatre was called Leningrad Young People's Theatre (Russian: Ленинградский театр юных зрителей, ЛенТЮЗ). In 1962 it was moved to the current newly constructed building. The theatre is in Saint Petersburg, on the Pionerskaya Square near the end of Gorokhovaya Street. The theatre has been the start of many well-known actors, and is well known for playing fairy tales. The Theatre is named after its founder Aleksandr Bryantsev (1883-1961). He was the leader of the theatre in 1921-1961[1] and directed more than fifty plays there. In 1962-1986 the leader of the theater was Zinovy Korogodsky. He directed more than one hundred plays and left a whole school of actors in the theatre[2]. In 1986-1996 the artistic director of the theater was Andrey Andreyev. In 1996-1998 the artistic director was Anatoly Praudin[3] succeeded by Sergey Kargin (1999-2002). In 2002-2007 Theater's Artistic Director was Grigory Kozlov.

Semyonovsky Bridge or Semenovsky Bridge (Russian: Семёновский Мост) is a bridge across the Fontanka River in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It carries the Gorokhovaya Street. It was opened in 1733 as a wooden bridge and became one of the first bridges across Fontanka. The bridge was rebuilt in stone in 1788, presumably, by Jean-Rodolphe Perronet). In 1857 the dilapidated pillars were rebuilt by engineer Fyodor Enrold. Almost a century later, in 1949, the pillars and main beams were reinstalled in metal.The bridge took its name from the Semenovsky Imperial Guard regiment barracks located nearby.The area is home to many sightseeing boats going to the Winter Palace, Peter and Paul Fortress, Summer Garden, and the Church of the Savior on Blood.

Zvenigorodskaya is a station of Saint Petersburg Metro, on Frunzensko–Primorskaya Line, between stations Sadovaya and Obvodny Kanal. It was opened on December 20, 2008, as one of the first stations on the new Frunzensko–Primorskaya Line. It is connected with foot passages to the Pushkinskaya station, serving the Kirovsko–Vyborgskaya Line. Upon the opening it was without an independent surface exit; all traffic had to go through Pushkinskaya. Escalators and a surface lobby were added later.

Saint Petersburg State Institute of Technology (Technical University) (Russian: Санкт-Петербургский Технологический Институт (Технический Университет)) was founded in 1828. It is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Russia, and it currently trains around 5,000 students.

Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater (Russian: Большой драматический театр имени Г. А. Товстоногова; literally Tovstonogov Great Drama Theater), formerly known as Gorky Bolshoi Drama Theater (Russian: Большой Драматический Театр имени Горького) (1931–1992), often referred to as the Bolshoi Drama Theater and by the acronym BDT (Russian: БДТ), is a theater in Saint Petersburg, that is considered one of the best Russian theaters. The theater is named after its long-time director Georgy Tovstonogov. Since 2013, Andrey Moguchy is the artistic director of the theater. The theater is also encountered in literature as the Great Drama Theater or Great Dramatic Theater of Leningrad.

Tekhnologichesky Institut (Russian: Технологи́ческий институ́т, IPA: [tʲɪxnəlɐˈɡʲitɕɪskʲɪj ɪnstʲɪˈtut]) (English: Technology Institute) is a cross-platform interchange station of the Saint Petersburg Metro. The station consists of two halls, both serving the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line and Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya Line trains. The first hall serves the southbound trains, while the second hall serves the northbound ones.

The Obukhovsky or Obukhov Bridge (Russian: Обуховский мост) is a bridge in St. Petersburg, Russia. It carries Moskovsky Prospekt over the Fontanka River. It was originally built as a stone bridge in 1785–86 to replace a 1717 wooden bridge, and was named after the builder. It was substantially modified in 1865 and again in 1938–1940.

The Assumption Church on Sennaya Square in St. Petersburg was a Late Baroque penticupolar church underwritten by Orthodox merchants trading at the nearby Sennaya Square market. The church originated as a wooden building transferred across the Neva from the northern part of the city. It was rebuilt in stone in the 1750s to a Rastrelliesque design attributed to Andrey Kvasov and was slightly modified on several occasions, most importantly by Luigi Rusca in 1817. The church boasted a high belfry of three storeys, a gilded icon screen, and many valuable items. Its parish was one of the richest in the city.The large building with the distinctive dark-green jug-like domes, popularly known as the Saviour Church, used to dominate the surrounding district. It gave its name to Spassky Island (the central parcel of the downtown wedged between the Fontanka, Moika, Griboyedov and Kryukov canals) and Spasskaya metro station. The building survived the Joseph Stalin period intact and was even elevated by the Living Church to a cathedral status (in 1923) but was blown up at the height of Nikita Khrushchev's anti-religious campaign in 1961. A metro vestibule that was to replace it stands slightly to the north. The site of the church has been marked by a very small and plain-looking chapel since 2003.

Sennaya Ploshchad (Russian: Сеннáя плóщадь, IPA: [sʲɪˈnːajə ˈploɕːɪtʲ], Sennaya Square) is a station on the Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya Line of Saint Petersburg Metro.
