General Anaya metro station (Monterrey)

The Cuauhtémoc Station (Spanish: Estación Cuauhtémoc) is a station on the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the north end of Cuauhtémoc Avenue, in the north side of downtown Monterrey. The Line 1 station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.Cuauhtémoc station is the most important station on the Metrorrey System, as it serves as the only transfer between Line 1 and Line 2. In the transfer point between lines, this station has stores that range from clothing to mobile phones, it also features a photo gallery on the advancement of the Line 2 expansion works. This station is named after Cuauhtémoc Avenue, and its logo represents a stylized headshot of Cuauhtémoc, an important Aztec ruler.This station is accessible for people with disabilities.The Line 2 station was opened on 30 November 1994 as part of the inaugural section of Line 2, between General Anaya and Zaragoza. After the inauguration of the extended Line 2 by President Felipe Calderón and other dignitaries, ridership on the Monterrey Metro system surged from 260,000 per day to 334,000 per day. Cuauhtémoc, San Nicolás, and Alameda were the stations that saw the greatest increase in passenger use and many riders were delayed before service adjustments could be made.

The Regina Station (Spanish: Estación Regina) is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located along Alfonso Reyes Avenue where it is intersected by Juan Sánchez Azcona street. This station is three blocks away from the Monumental Monterrey (Monterrey's main Bullfighting ring) and across the street from the Coca-Cola bottler. Its logo represents the architecture of the station's entrance, and it is accessible for people with disabilities. This station was inaugurated on October 31, 2007. It was part of the first stage of the Line 2 expansion (along with Niños Heroes Station and Universidad), being the only underground station of the Line 2 extension project.

The Central Station (Spanish: Estación Central) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the Madero Avenue in the Monterrey Centre. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the northwest side of the downtown area and also the Monterrey Bus Depot (Central de Autobuses). It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after the Bus Depot nearby, and its logo represents a couple of buses.

The 10th federal electoral district of Nuevo León (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 10 de Nuevo León) is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 14 such districts in the state of Nuevo León. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the second region. The 10th district was created by the 1977 electoral reforms and was first contested in the 1979 mid-term election. The current member for the district, elected in the 2024 general election, is Ana Isabel González González of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the second region. The current member for the district, elected in the 2024 general election, is Santiago González Soto of the Labour Party (PT).

The 6th federal electoral district of Nuevo León (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 06 de Nuevo León) is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 14 such districts in the state of Nuevo León. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the second region. The current member for the district, re-elected in the 2024 general election, is Annia Gómez Cárdenas of the National Action Party (PAN).

The Del Golfo Station (Spanish: Estación Del Golfo) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the northeast side of the city centre and the Treviño neighborhood (Colonia Treviño). This station is near the old "Del Golfo" railroad station (now The Railroad Museum and the State Culture House), it is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after the old "Del Golfo" railroad station, and its logo represents the facade of that building.

In the Battle of Monterrey (September 21–24, 1846) during the Mexican–American War, General Pedro de Ampudia and the Mexican Army of the North was defeated by the Army of Occupation, a force of United States Regulars, Volunteers and Texas Rangers under the command of General Zachary Taylor. The hard-fought urban combat led to heavy casualties on both sides. The battle ended with both sides negotiating a two-month armistice and the Mexican forces being allowed to make an orderly evacuation in return for the surrender of the city.

The Edison Station (Spanish: Estación Edison) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in Monterrey, Mexico at the intersection of Edison street and Colon Avenue in the Monterrey Centre. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the west side of the downtown area and also the Talleres neighborhood (Colonia Talleres). It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after Edison Avenue, and its logo represents a phonograph, one of the inventions of Thomas Edison, whom the avenue is named after.

The Alameda Station (Spanish: Estación Alameda) is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the intersection of Aramberri street and Cuauhtémoc Avenue in the Monterrey centre. The station was opened on 30 November 1994 as part of the inaugural section of Line 2, between General Anaya and Zaragoza.This metro station serves the Monterrey centre, and is located one block away from the popular Alameda public park, from which the station takes its name. It is accessible for people with disabilities. The logo represents the arches that are in the Parque Alameda.

The Niños Héroes Station (Spanish: Estación Niños Héroes) is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the intersection of Alfonso Reyes and Ciudad de Los Ángeles Avenues. This station is next to the Niños Héroes Park (from which the station takes its name), it's also near the Raúl Rangel Frías Library of the University of Nuevo León, the Nuevo León Cycling track, and the Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station's logo represents a stylized headshot of a "Niño Héroe" (one of the hero boys that died defending the country against the American invasion in 1847). This station was inaugurated on October 31, 2007 as part of the first stage of the Line 2 expansion (along with Regina Station and Universidad).

The Estadio Mobil Super (popularly known as Palacio Sultán) is a baseball stadium in Monterrey, Mexico. It is the home venue of the Sultanes Monterrey Mexican League baseball team. It holds 21,803 people, making it the largest baseball stadium in Mexico and the third-largest in Latin America.
