Church Farmhouse, Kemeys Commander, Monmouthshire is a former parsonage dating from the mid-16th century. The farmhouse and the attached barn are Grade II* listed buildings.

Alice Springs Golf Club - Now Closed (Welsh: Clwb Golff Alice Springs) is a former golf club based just outside Usk at Monmouthshire, Wales. Alice Springs was a 36-hole golf complex with 40 Buggys, all fitted with GPS systems. It was an all-weather course with no temporary greens. The club's 2 courses were open to the public, as were the clubhouse facilities and restaurant which were also open to the general non playing public. Wales and Scarlets prop Iestyn Thomas amongst others had played at the club. It is now permanently closed.As of 2011 there is also an Alice Springs Golf Club in central Australia.

The Church of St David, Trostrey, Monmouthshire, Wales, is a parish church with its origins in the 14th century. Its founder may have been Geoffrey Marshall, Lord of Trostrey Castle. The church was substantially rebuilt in the 16th century and restored by John Prichard in 1876–1877. It remains an active parish church.

The Battle of Pwll Melyn (also known as the Battle of Usk) was a battle between the Welsh and English on 5 May 1405, it was part of the Glyndŵr Rising that lasted from 1400 to 1415. It was the first English victory in a pitched battle during the war. The battle resulted in heavy casualties for the Welsh including the loss of two important commanders (Owain Glyndwr's brother and eldest son).

Trostrey Court House, Trostrey, Monmouthshire is a late 16th century gentry house. The current building replaced an earlier medieval court. The house played a role in the English Civil War when it was seized by the forces of Thomas Fairfax during the siege of Raglan Castle. In the 18th century the estate was sold to Valentine Morris, owner of nearby Piercefield House. In the 19th century the court was owned by the Fluyders, but let to tenant farmers. It remains a private house and working estate. The court is a Grade II* listed building.

Goytre Association Football Club is a football club is based in the village of Penperlleni, Monmouthshire in South Wales. The team play in the Ardal Leagues South East, in the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid. They play at their Plough Road ground which opened in the mid-1990s. The clubhouse has recently been extended to accommodate a function room and further expansion is planned to include a second playing surface and training ground.
