HM Prison Wellingborough was a Category C men's prison, located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England. The prison was previously operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service and was retained as reserve site for use in the event of other prisons being at capacity. HM Prison Five Wells was built on the site of the prison following its demolition in 2019.

Wellingborough Whitworth Football Club is an English football club based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The club is currently a member of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One and play at Victoria Mill, London Road. The club is managed by James Mallows. The team is named after milling business Whitworths and are nicknamed "the flourmen".

Summer Leys is a local nature reserve at Wollaston in the Upper Nene Valley, in Northamptonshire, England. It is owned by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

The Wellingborough School Ground is a cricket ground which was used by Northamptonshire County Cricket Club in 43 First-class matches for 45 years between 1946 and 1991, and 17 List A games between 1970 and 1991. It is now used predominantly for Women's County Twenty20 Cricket. The Thatched Pavilion which adjoins the ground features, as the last step an incoming batsman takes on the way to the wicket, a paving stone from W. G. Grace's home in Bristol. Murray Witham, a geography teacher at the school, rescued the stone from Grace's home when it was being demolished in the 1930s and brought it to the school.

Wrenn School is a coeducational secondary comprehensive school and Sixth form with academy status, located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England.

Wellingborough School is a co-educational day private school in the market town of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire. It was established in 1595 and is one of the oldest schools in the country. The school today consists of a Prep school (ages 3–10) Senior school (ages 11–16) and a sixth form (ages 16–18).

Wollaston is a village and civil parish in North Northamptonshire, England, about 3 miles (5 km) south of the market town of Wellingborough. The 2011 census recorded the population of the parish, including Strixton, as 3,491.[1]Wollaston is from 160 to 260 feet (50 to 80 m) above sea level on hills east of the Nene valley. The soil is clay over subsoil and is on the old Wellingborough to London road. Summer Leys Local Nature reserve is nearby. The Domesday Book of 1086 records the toponym as Wilavestone. In a document written in 1190 it is spelt Wullaueston. The name comes from Old English and is believed to mean the farmstead or village of a man named Wulfaf.[2]

Irchester Old Lodge Pit is a 0.4-hectare (0.99-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This is described by Natural England as "a key Middle Jurassic locality important for the information it yields on both Bathonian environments and stratigraphy". It exposes White Limestone which has many fossils, especially molluscs.The site is private land with no public access.
