Worcester is a borough constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Since 1885 it has elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election; from 1295 to 1885 it elected two MPs.

Royal Air Force Worcester or more simply RAF Worcester is a former Royal Air Force relief landing ground (RLG) which was located 1.7 miles (2.7 km) north east of Worcester city centre, Worcestershire, England and 4.4 miles (7.1 km) south west of Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire.

Tudor Grange Academy Worcester is a mixed secondary school in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It occupies the site of the former Elgar Technology College that was disbanded following its inability to improve under the special measures received from Ofsted. Tudor Grange Academy Trust then sponsored the school, renamed it after the Solihull school named "Tudor Grange Academy Solihull" and heavily renovated the site. The new academy was established in 2009 and was the second academy school of its type to be set up in England, opening for the new school year in September. Work on refurbishing the buildings was scheduled to begin in April 2011, to be supervised by the Worcester Council Children's Services Department, and was expected to be completed in early 2013. Some of the new premises were expected to be ready for student use by late 2012.Sponsored by Tudor Grange Academy, Solihull, and entirely funded by The Department for Education, the academy supports local communities in its catchment area of the northern half of the city of Worcester and it suburbs, serving the same area as the former Elgar Technology College. The first head teacher is Claire Maclean, the former deputy head of the Technology College.

Elgar Technology College was a secondary school in Worcester, Worcestershire, England, that was formed in 1983 and closed in 2009. It was a co-educational community school with an enrollment of about 860 students aged from 11 to 16. Elgar held Specialist Technology College status.The school was formed following a merger of Perdiswell School and Samuel Southall Merriman's School. Many students were from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. There were low proportions of students from minority heritage backgrounds and a small number of students for whom English is an additional language. The attainment of students on entry spanned the full ability range but on average was lower than the national figure. There were slightly higher proportions of students with learning difficulties or disabilities. In 2007, less than 42% of pupils achieved five or more A*-C grades for GCSEs. In 2007 following an Ofsted report the school was placed into special measures; Eleven out of twenty inspection criteria areas were graded as being exceptionally low.After failing to improve according to the Ofsted requirements, Elgar Technology College was closed in 2009. The site was taken over and a new school, Tudor Grange Academy, a sister school to Tudor Grange School in Solihull, occupied the premises and opened on 1 September 2009.

Blackpole Halt railway station was a station to the north of Worcester, Worcestershire, England. The station was opened during World War I to serve a nearby munitions factory and closed afterwards, before reopening again between 1940 and 1946 for the same purpose in World War II.

Worcester Shrub Hill railway station is one of two railway stations serving the city of Worcester in Worcestershire, England. It is managed by West Midlands Trains, operating here under the West Midlands Railway brand, and it is also served by Great Western Railway. The platform 2B waiting room of Worcester Shrub Hill is Grade II* listed and reopened in 2015 after a ten-year refurbishment project. The city's other station, Worcester Foregate Street, is situated in the city centre; Shrub Hill is situated to the east. A third station Worcestershire Parkway is located just outside the city to the south-east.

Bishop Perowne CE College is a Church of England secondary school with academy status located in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It is a co-educational school, with a capacity of 1,050 pupils aged between 11 and 16. The school is a specialist Performing Arts College and was the first Worcestershire school to take Specialist Performing Arts status in 2002. The school takes its name from two former Bishops of Worcester, John Perowne (Bishop of Worcester 1891–1901), and his son Arthur Perowne (Bishop of Worcester 1931–1941). An Ofsted inspection in May 2012 judged the school to be Grade 2 (good). Lead inspector Michael Miller said: "The proportion of students achieving, and currently on track to achieve, five or more higher grade GCSE passes, including English and Mathematics, is above average. Opportunities for performance through the school's specialist status benefit students well and boost their confidence.

Ronkswood is a suburb of the city of Worcester, the county seat of Worcestershire, England. It is around one mile east of the city centre, centred on Newtown Road (B4636). Much of the Ronkswood housing estate was built in the late 1940s.

106.7 Youthcomm Radio is a youth community radio station, licensed by Ofcom, broadcasting to Worcester, England, on 106.7FM. The station officially launched on FM on Sunday 13 January 2008 after running online for seven years. Youthcomm Radio was established in 1996. Youthcomm broadcasts from studios in the St Johns area of Worcester, with their transmitter located in the Ronkswood area of Worcester. This high transmitter location provides a large coverage area, spanning across the county of Worcestershire. Shows include 'Owen Lowe In The Morning', and 'James Martin in the Afertnoon' every weekday. The tagline for Youthcomm is 'Worcestershire's Hit Music Station'.

Lea & Perrins (L&P) is a United Kingdom-based subsidiary of Kraft Heinz, originating in Worcester, England, where it continues to operate. It is best known as the maker of Lea & Perrins brand of Worcestershire sauce, which was first sold in 1837 by John Wheeley Lea and William Henry Perrins, dispensing chemists from Broad Street, Worcester. It was inspired by Marcus Sandys, 3rd Baron Sandys who had served in Bengal and tasted a fish sauce there which he asked them to recreate but ended up putrid until it lay fermenting for three years. It is currently produced in the Midland Road factory in Worcester that Lea and Perrins built. The sauce was first imported to the United States by the Duncan family of New York in 1839 which continued involvement for over a hundred years. A subsidiary in Pittsburgh currently manufactures an American version of the recipe.

The school is located in Worcester, England, in a large, late Georgian, Grade 2 listed building, with many outbuildings, set in 8.5 acres (34,000 m2) of wooded and open grassed areas, near the A38 road in the Fernhill Heath suburb of Worcester, England.The school has about 140 full-time day pupils, aged from 2 to 16, who are drawn from the city of Worcester, and surrounding towns The school is non-denominational. A report in February 2013, by the Bridge Schools Inspectorate, rated the overall quality of teaching as good, with outstanding elements.
