Rushwick is a village and civil parish in the Malvern Hills District in the county of Worcestershire, England. loggers Situated to the west of the city of Worcester, Rushwick Parish comprises the four villages and hamlets of Broadmore Green, Crown East, Rushwick village and Upper Wick. The Worcester to Hereford railway line passes through the village. Rushwick village has been circumvented by the Western By-pass, reducing through traffic, making it much quieter compared with previous times. It has one pub inside the village, and one on the outskirts. An organic meat and vegetable shop can be found in the south of the village. There is also a preschool and a primary school. Rushwick Cricket Club, with its three Worcester Cricket League teams, Sunday and Evening League sides, and Junior teams from Under-9 to Under-16 age-groups, is situated in Upper Wick, at the Alf Tolley Memorial Ground. The south of the parish is bordered by the River Teme.

Leigh and Bransford are two separate civil parishes in the district of Malvern Hills of the county of Worcestershire, England, with a single parish council. Situated about 5 miles (8.0 km) from Worcester and 5 miles (8.0 km) from Malvern, in addition to the villages of Leigh Sinton, Leigh and Bransford, the combined parishes also include the hamlets of Brockamin, Sandin, and Smith End.

Newland Halt railway station was a station in Newland, Worcestershire, England. The station was opened on 18 March 1929 and closed on 5 April 1965.

Powick Hospital was a psychiatric facility located on 552 acres (223 ha) outside the village of Powick, Worcestershire. The asylum closed in 1989 leaving Barnsley Hall Hospital in Bromsgrove as the remaining psychiatric hospital in the county. Most of the complex has been demolished to make way for a housing estate.

Bransford is a village and civil parish in the Malvern Hills district of the county of Worcestershire, England. It is situated close to the River Teme and the village of Leigh. It is on the primary route between Worcester and Hereford, the A4103 that runs through the centre of the village. According to the 2011 census, Bransford has a population of 389. The parish shares its parish council with Leigh. The main church in Bransford is St. Johns the Baptist church, a small Norman building, lit by candlelight. Bransford is part of the West Worcestershire parliamentary constituency and its current Member of Parliament is Harriet Baldwin, who is a Conservative representative.

Upper Wick is a hamlet in the parish of Rushwick, Worcestershire. Ralph Ardern inherited the manor of Upper Wick between 1382 (the death of his father, Henry de Ardern) and 1408 (the death of his mother). The farm, as pictured, is owned by the Edmonds family.

The Firs: Birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar in Lower Broadheath, Worcestershire, England is a museum dedicated to the English composer Edward Elgar. On 1 September 2017 the museum reopened under National Trust stewardship. Elgar was born here on 2 June 1857, and lived here until his family moved to Worcester two years later. The museum comprises the Birthplace Cottage and its garden, and the modern Elgar Centre, opened in 2000, which houses further exhibitions and a function room. The Museum displays give an insight into Elgar the man and social history as well as an opportunity to see original music manuscripts. In addition to autograph music manuscripts, the Museum collection includes around 11,000 letters from and to Elgar, his friends and family; proofs, programmes and other items connected with Elgar's music; family photographs and scrapbooks; items connected with his travels and with his hobbies including golf and cycling; personal possessions, awards and honours, and film of his later years. The cottage was established as a museum in 1934, on Elgar's death, by his daughter Carice Elgar Blake.For the five years 2017–2021 the museum will be administered by the National Trust on behalf of The Elgar Foundation. It greatly values the support it receives from generous donors and its friends including the Elgar Society. It has Accredited Museum status from the Arts Council England.
