The Female Student Study Center – Al Malaz Branch (Arabic: مركز دراسة الطالبات – فرع الملز, romanized: Markaz Dirāsah aṭ-Ṭālibāt – Farʿ al-Malaz) was one of the three women-only satellite campuses of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in al-Malazz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, active from 1984 to 2012.Established in 1984, the campus offered courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels in fields such as computer science, Islamic law, social science, human resource management and natural science. The students and faculty were relocated to the newly built King Abdullah City for Female Students in 2012 and thus, disbanding the campus.

Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City (Arabic: مدينة الأمير فيصل بن فهد الرياضية) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, designed by architect Michael KC Cheah. It is currently used mostly for football matches. Named after Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, the stadium has a capacity of 22,500 people. Al-Hilal, Al Nassr and Al-Shabab play their matches in this stadium. In 1972, it hosted the opening ceremony for the Arabian Gulf Cup. In the 2011–2012 it became one of the first stadiums in the Kingdom to use electronic ticketing for the Saudi Football League.

Al-Alia International Indian School (AAIIS) (Arabic: مدرسة العالية الهندية العالمية) is a K–12 gender-isolated English-medium community-based private foreign school in the al-Malazz neighborhood of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, primarily serving the Indian diaspora, mostly Malayalis. Established in 2003 by Indian politician and businessman Thomas Chandy, the school offers Indian curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, and is a member of the CBSE Gulf Sahodaya besides being approved by the country's Ministry of Education.

Al-Malazz (Arabic: حي الملز, romanized: ḥaī al-Malaz), formerly al-Riyadh al-Jadidah (lit. The New Riyadh) and the Red Sea neighborhood, is a commercial and residential neighborhood and the seat of the sub-municipality of its namesake, al-Malaz, in downtown Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Named after the al-Malaz Square (now King Abdullah Park), it was established in 1954 by King Saud bin Abdulaziz as a housing project for government employees and was later developed into a full-fledged district. The neighborhood has a large presence of overseas Syrian community alongside native Saudi nationals.It the very first modern locality in the city, alongside the al-Nassiriyah district, which replaced the vernacular Najdi architecture with a modern one. The area is also popular for hosting several iconic landmarks, supermarkets, streets and government ministries.

Al-Yasmin International School (AYIS) (Arabic: مدرسة الیاسمین العالمية‎, romanized: Madrasah al-Yāsmīn al-ʿĀlamīyah; Malayalam: അൽ യാസ്മിൻ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സ്‌കൂൾ, romanized: al-Yāsmin Inṟarnāṣaṇal Skūḷ) is a K–12 gender-isolated English-medium community-based foreign school in the al-Malazz neighborhood of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1999, the school offers Indian curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education and primarily serves the Indian diaspora. Founded in 1999 by Indian politician and businessman PV Abdul Wahab, it offers Indian curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education and is a member of the CBSE Gulf Sahodaya. It is approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of Saudi Arabia and is one of three schools in the country affiliated with the Peevees Group of Schools, other being the Jeddah-based New Al-Wurood International School and Dammam-based Al-Khozama International School.

King Abdullah Park (Arabic: ﻣﻨﺘﺰﻩ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻚ ﻋﺒﺪﺍﷲ, romanized: Muntazah al-Malik ʿAbd Allāh), formerly Al-Malaz Square (Arabic: ميدان الملز), is an equestrian field-turned municipal park in the al-Malazz neighborhood of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located adjacent to Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium. Covering an area of 31.8 hectares (79 acres), the square served as a horse racecourse from the early days of Saudi Arabia's unification until 2002, before being reopened as the largest public park in the country in 2013. Al-Malaz Square, as it was previously called, lent its name to the al-Malazz neighbourhood, which the park today forms a central part of. Popular for its 12-meter wide pedestrian corridor, 110-meter giant laser fountains and an artificial lake, the park gets flooded by visitors during festive seasons of Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and publicly organized events such as the Saudi National Day where the park also displays fireworks before midnight.

Thulaim (Arabic: ثليم, romanized: ṯulaīm) is a commercial and residential neighborhood in downtown Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located south of al-Amal and north of Margab in the sub-municipality of al-Malaz, situated on the edge of now dried up stream of Wadi al-Batʼha. The neighborhood is bounded by the al-Batʼha Street to the west, constituting its westernmost part in the al-Batʼha commercial area and is today inhabited mostly by overseas workers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is named after the Thulaim Palace, which was itself attributed to an eponymous farm on which it was built by King Abdulaziz ibn Saud in present-day al-Fouta district in late 1930s. Owing to its visible furrows (Arabic: ثُلَم, lit. 'gaps') during medieval Najd, one historical account suggests that the area might've been referred to as al-Thalama (Arabic: الثلماء) during the existence of Hajr al-Yamamah, which was recorded in a poem by 8th century Abbasid poet Sulayman ibn Abi Hafsa.

Al-ʽAmal (Arabic: العمل, lit. 'labor'), formerly al-Ghurabi (Arabic: الغرابي) and Shiʽab (Arabic: شعاب, lit. 'watercourse'), is a commercial and residential neighborhood situated along the al-Batʼha Street in downtown Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located north of Thulaim and east of al-Futah in the sub-municipality of al-Malaz. As the neighborhood is bounded by al-Batʼha Street to the west, its western strip partially forms part of the al-Batʼha commercial area.

Al-Salihiyah (Arabic: حي الصالحية) or al-Salhiya is a residential neighborhood and a subject of Baladiyah al-Batha in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Spread across 48 hectares, it shares borders with al-Oud neighborhood to the west and Sinaiyah Qadeem to the east. The locality is mostly inhabited by overseas workers of various nationalities, including Yemenis and Indians.

Al-Marqab (Arabic: المرقب, lit. 'watchtower'), or in Najdi vernacular pronunciation as al-Margab, is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located east of al-Dirah and south of Thulaim in the sub-municipality of al-Batʼha. It was referred to as Margab by the local populace, the Arabic word for watchtower in Najd, due to the fortifications of the former walled town that used to overlook the settlement from the west prior to getting dismantled in the 1950s. As the neighborhood is bounded by al-Batʼha Street to the west, its western strip partially forms part of the al-Batʼha commercial area. The early traces of its existence dates back to 16th century, which nearly corresponds with the final stages of the disintegration of Hajr al-Yamamah that resulted in the succession of several settlements from the former.

Downtown Riyadh (Arabic: وسط الرياض) is a term used for a group of 20 neighborhoods in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Covering an area of more than 3700 acres, it hosts some of the city's most important cultural and commercial districts, such as the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, the al-Batʼha commercial area and the Qasr al-Hukm District, while simultaneously overlapping with many of the old city areas of the capital metropolis. The first downtown development plan was introduced in 2013 by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.The downtown is bounded by Al-Washm Street and Omar bin Al-Khattab Street in the north, Al-Kharj Road in the east, Ammar bin Yasir Street and Al-A’sha Street in the south, and Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Street in the west.

Al-Batʼha (Arabic: البطحاء, romanized: al-Baṭʼḥāʾ, lit. 'the wide valley'), also simply romanized as Batha, is a colloquial umbrella term used for the agglomeration of certain parts of neighborhoods in downtown Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, that are primarily situated along the al-Batʼha Street on the either edge of the now-dried up stream of Wadi al-Batʼha, located between al-Murabba and the Qasr al-Hukm District. It is one of the oldest commercial districts in Riyadh and the financial nerve center of the city's downtown area, covering east of al-Futah and al-Dirah whereas west of al-Amal, Margab, Thulaim and to some extent, al-Oud. It emerged in the 1940s during World War II when a number of Kuwaiti merchants and traders chose to set up an auction market just outside the northeastern fringes of the erstwhile walled town.Besides being a open-air marketplace that hosts a number of large and medium-scale trading centers, the surrounding locality has been the heart of the city's Bangladeshi community since the oil boom of the 1970s, alongside Indians, Pakistanis, Filipinos and Sri Lankans, who altogether contribute in almost 70% of the economic activity in the area.Traditional Kuwaiti goods accounted for majority of Batha's imports during the early days of its emergence , however, products from various countries like the United Kingdom, Spain, China, Taiwan, Switzerland, Vietnam and Thailand soon began increasing the diversity of Batha's trading centers.Public transport services were introduced In the area in the 1960s. 1977, the Riyadh Municipality created the al-Batha Sub-Municipality, one of the 16 sub-municipalities of Riyadh, that also includes two of five neighborhoods that constitute the Batha area, namely ad-Dirah and Margab.
