Nobold is a hamlet on the south-western edge of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, England. It is located on the Shrewsbury to Longden road. Nobold boasts Shropshire's oldest natural water well. Nearby are Meole Brace and Hook-a-Gate villages.

Hook-a-Gate is a village in Shropshire, England. It is located on the Shrewsbury to Longden road, a little to the south of the A5 Shrewsbury bypass from Shrewsbury itself. Bayston Hill is nearby, though there is no direct vehicular road connecting the two villages, only a track. It was formerly a stop on the now defunct Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Railway. The Rea brook flows through the village. The hamlet of Redhill adjoins the village, on the north side of the Rea Brook. The village is served by one public house - the New Inn. Until 2014, the Mucky Duck (formerly Cygnets) also served as a public house in the village.

Edgebold is a dispersed hamlet on the western edge of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, England. It is on the A488 Shrewsbury to Bishop's Castle road.

Radbrook Green, usually known locally as simply Radbrook, is the name of a small suburb of Shrewsbury, situated to the south-west of the town, approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre. Construction of the estate started in the late 1970s, with most of the estate completed by the early 1990s. The population of the Shrewsbury Ward at the 2011 census was 3,979. It is a private housing estate, predominantly seen as a middle class area of the town. the northern part of the estate is often referred to as 'Collegefields' (as houses in this area were built on fields of the nearby Shrewsbury College)

Meole Brace School is a coeducational secondary school in the suburb of Meole Brace, Shrewsbury, England. It is one of two state-funded secondary schools in South Shrewsbury and serves a wide catchment area which includes Meole Brace, areas of Belle Vue and Radbrook, as well as Bayston Hill and some rural settlements south of Shrewsbury.It previously held Science College specialist status and was awarded the Sportsmark by the Sports Council. Ofsted rated the school "Good" in 2015, paying special attention to the above average results in Religious Studies, Geography, Drama and Modern Foreign Languages at GCSE level. The school also has Ofsted "Good" ratings in every category.Previously a community school administered by Shropshire Council, in January 2019 Meole Brace School converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the Central Shropshire Academy Trust. As Meole Brace School does not have a sixth form, students transfer to Shrewsbury Sixth Form College, Shrewsbury College or a private school. Still, Meole Brace - sometimes abbreviated to MBS - is the largest secondary school within Shrewsbury.

Pulley is a small village on the southern edge of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, England. It is located between Shrewsbury and Bayston Hill. The population at the 2011 Census is listed under Bayston Hill. The A5 Shrewsbury by-pass cuts through the area. To the north is the Shrewsbury suburb of Meole Brace.

Meole Brace railway station was a station in Meole Brace, Shropshire, England. The station was opened in 1911 and closed in 1933.

The Priory School is a secondary school with academy status in the market town of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. The school was opened in September 1939 and became a Business and Enterprise College in 2003, with the addition of Applied GCSE courses to the curriculum. The Priory was a girls' grammar school linked to the Priory Grammar School for Boys, but has since become a mixed non-selective school. The Business and Enterprise training centre was opened in September 2004 and became an Enterprise Hub in April 2006, and was awarded High Performing Specialist School status at the start of the academic year 2007–08. The school has no sixth form, but is in partnership with the Shrewsbury Colleges Group, which was created by the merging of the two main local further education institutions (Shrewsbury Sixth Form College and Shrewsbury College), which the large majority of pupils go on to attend. The school was granted Academy status in June 2012. It became a multi-academy trust in 2016 with Coleham School and St Martins, followed by Thomas Adams School in March 2020. In 2013, an Ofsted inspection report rated the school as 'outstanding' in all four categories (in both of its previous inspections), making the school the top performing in the county by Ofsted's criteria.

Bayston Hill is a village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. It is 3 miles (5 km) south of the county town Shrewsbury and located on the main A49 road, the Shrewsbury to Hereford road. Occupied continuously since before the Middle Ages, the village had a population of 5,079 residents in 2,172 households in the 2011 census. Bayston Hill has three public houses, two built churches (Church of England and Methodist), one primary school called Oakmeadow, and a public library. Lyth Hill lies to the south of the village.

Shrewsbury and Atcham is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2005 by Daniel Kawczynski, a Conservative.Under the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the constituency will only be subject to minor boundary changes, but is revert to the name of Shrewsbury - dropping the "and Atcham" to reflect the abolition in 2009 of the Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council. It will be first contested at the next general election.
