Downing Street Historic District

Turkey Creek is a stream in the Ozarks of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. It is a tributary of Lake Taneycomo. The stream source is two-thirds of a mile south of the Missouri - Arkansas border in Boone County north of the village of Crest. The Missouri Pacific Railroad line follows the stream course after exiting the Crest railroad tunnel under Arkansas State Route 14 at Crest. North of the state line in Taney County the stream flows north through west Hollister to its confluence with Lake Taneycomo south of Branson. M. Graham Clark Downtown Airport (IATA: PLK, ICAO: KPLK, FAA LID: PLK) is a county-owned, public-use airport in Taney County, Missouri, United States. It is located one nautical mile (2 km) south of the central business district of Branson, Missouri, one nautical mile (2 km) northeast of Point Lookout, Missouri, and a few yards west of the old downtown area of Hollister, Missouri. It was formerly known as M. Graham Clark Field – Taney County Airport.

Samuel T. and Mary B. Parnell House, also known as Mt. Branson Lodge, is a historic home located near Branson, Taney County, Missouri. It was built about 1912 and is a two-story, American Craftsman-style dwelling constructed of irregular rubble courses of native stone. The façade features a partial-width, two-story porch supported by massive, battered stone piers. Also located on the property is a contributing one-story, rock and wood-frame garage.: 5 The home was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Branson Scenic Railway is a heritage railroad in Branson, Missouri. The Ozark Zephyr, Branson Scenic Railway's historic zephyr train, departs from an old depot in downtown Branson and operates in the scenic Ozark Mountains for an approximate 40-mile (64 km) round trip. As the underlying rail lines are owned by the Missouri and Northern Arkansas Railroad (MNA) and are still in use as an active railroad, MNA traffic determines whether a particular trip will operate northbound from Branson to Galena, Missouri, or southbound from Branson to the Barren Fork Trestle in Arkansas.

Sammy Lane Resort Historic District was a national historic district located at Branson, Taney County, Missouri. The district encompassed four contributing buildings and two contributing structures built between 1925 and 1943 as part of a resort. They were four log and native rock resort cottages, an elaborate native rock landscape construction and a well house. The buildings and structures were excellent vernacular examples expressive of the Bungalow / American Craftsman aesthetic. The resort has been demolished and replaced with The Branson Landing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 and delisted in 2003.

Branson City Park Historic District was a national historic district located at Branson, Taney County, Missouri. The district encompassed one contributing site and two contributing structures built between 1934 and 1943 as part of a Works Progress Administration project. They were the Mang Field Bleachers, Mang baseball field and the Stone Bleachers. The bleacher structures were good examples of the use of rustic native stone by means of the slab rock technique. The park has been demolished and replaced with The Branson Landing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Memorial Fieldhouse and Keeter Gymnasium is a 3,500-seat arena for College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Missouri, United States. The Fieldhouse, located at the corner of Cultural Court and Opportunity Avenue, like other buildings on the campus was built with student labor fulfilling their "Hard Work U" obligations of working instead of paying tuition. Since 2000 it has been the home of the NAIA Division II National Championship basketball tournament. Significant improvements to the fieldhouse were made prior to the 2014 NAIA Men's Division II Basketball Tournament. The arena was dedicated in 1973. It is named for college vice-president Howell W. Keeter. The fieldhouse has three basketball courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, weight room, racquetball courts, dance studio, volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities.In 2009 a 21,888-square-foot (2,033.5 m2) fitness center was added solving a practice problem for the men's and women's basketball teams. In the past men and women could not practice at the same time in the building.

College of the Ozarks is a private Christian college in Point Lookout, Missouri. The college has an enrollment of 1,426 and over 30 academic majors in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs.The college charges no tuition for full-time students due to its student work program and donations. The program requires students to work 15 hours a week at an on-campus work station and two 40-hour work weeks during breaks. A summer work program is available to some students to cover room and board costs. The college refers to itself as "Hard Work U" and places emphasis on "character" education.

KCOZ (The Lookout 91.7 FM, College of the Ozarks Christian Radio) is a radio station that broadcast a Jazz music format until switching to a Contemporary Christian music format in late 2011. Licensed to Point Lookout, Missouri, United States, the station is currently owned by College of the Ozarks. Previously the radio station operated as KSOZ, a National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate. As of January 2021, KCOZ can be found streaming online at KCOZ.live and also on the KCOZ Radio app.
