College of the Ozarks is a private Christian college in Point Lookout, Missouri. The college has an enrollment of 1,426 and over 30 academic majors in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs.The college charges no tuition for full-time students due to its student work program and donations. The program requires students to work 15 hours a week at an on-campus work station and two 40-hour work weeks during breaks. A summer work program is available to some students to cover room and board costs. The college refers to itself as "Hard Work U" and places emphasis on "character" education.

Memorial Fieldhouse and Keeter Gymnasium is a 3,500-seat arena for College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Missouri, United States. The Fieldhouse, located at the corner of Cultural Court and Opportunity Avenue, like other buildings on the campus was built with student labor fulfilling their "Hard Work U" obligations of working instead of paying tuition. Since 2000 it has been the home of the NAIA Division II National Championship basketball tournament. Significant improvements to the fieldhouse were made prior to the 2014 NAIA Men's Division II Basketball Tournament. The arena was dedicated in 1973. It is named for college vice-president Howell W. Keeter. The fieldhouse has three basketball courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, weight room, racquetball courts, dance studio, volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities.In 2009 a 21,888-square-foot (2,033.5 m2) fitness center was added solving a practice problem for the men's and women's basketball teams. In the past men and women could not practice at the same time in the building.

Downing Street Historic District, also known as The English Village, is a national historic district located at Hollister, Taney County, Missouri. The district encompasses 12 contributing buildings built between 1909 and the 1920s as part of a planned village in the Tudor Revival style. The buildings feature walls made of stone and stucco in a light beige color, with decorative boards painted a dark brown. Notable buildings include the U.S. Post Office - Gwinn Ceramics, Christian Science Society, Ye Old English Inn, and Hollister City Hall (formerly Missouri Pacific Railroad Depot, 1910).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Branson Cross is a large structure in the shape of a cross located in Walnut Shade, Missouri near Branson, Missouri. At 218 feet (66.45m) tall, it is claimed to be the largest cross in North America. The cross is among the ten largest such structures in the world. The Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce held a ceremony in April, 2019 to declare the monument open to the public.

Turkey Creek is a stream in the Ozarks of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. It is a tributary of Lake Taneycomo. The stream source is two-thirds of a mile south of the Missouri - Arkansas border in Boone County north of the village of Crest. The Missouri Pacific Railroad line follows the stream course after exiting the Crest railroad tunnel under Arkansas State Route 14 at Crest. North of the state line in Taney County the stream flows north through west Hollister to its confluence with Lake Taneycomo south of Branson. Fall Creek is a small creek with headwaters in Stone County just south of Missouri Route 76 and northeast of Silver Dollar City. The stream enters Taney County and flows southeast between Route 76 and Missouri Route 265 through west Branson and joins the White River downstream of the Table Rock Lake dam in south Branson. It flows parallel to and then under Missouri Route 165. The White River enters Lake Taneycomo downstream.In 1998, raw sewage from a broken sewer killed over 4000 fish in the creek. This was said to be "the largest recorded fish kill" in the White River watershed.

Coon Creek is a stream in Taney County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Lake Taneycomo. Coon Creek was so named on account of raccoons in the area.

Sammy Lane Resort Historic District was a national historic district located at Branson, Taney County, Missouri. The district encompassed four contributing buildings and two contributing structures built between 1925 and 1943 as part of a resort. They were four log and native rock resort cottages, an elaborate native rock landscape construction and a well house. The buildings and structures were excellent vernacular examples expressive of the Bungalow / American Craftsman aesthetic. The resort has been demolished and replaced with The Branson Landing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 and delisted in 2003.

The Branson Scenic Railway is a heritage railroad in Branson, Missouri. The Ozark Zephyr, Branson Scenic Railway's historic zephyr train, departs from an old depot in downtown Branson and operates in the scenic Ozark Mountains for an approximate 40-mile (64 km) round trip. As the underlying rail lines are owned by the Missouri and Northern Arkansas Railroad (MNA) and are still in use as an active railroad, MNA traffic determines whether a particular trip will operate northbound from Branson to Galena, Missouri, or southbound from Branson to the Barren Fork Trestle in Arkansas.
