Normacot

Lightwood is a suburb of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. It is located to the south of Longton, and Lightwood Road runs from here to Rough Close. The area gives its name to the Lightwood Hoard, a substantial collection of Roman coins discovered buried in the garden of a house on Lightwood Road in 1960.Though containing mostly private housing, the area includes a Methodist chapel constructed in 1816 which is a Grade II listed building.

Florence is a suburb of Stoke-on-Trent, in the Stoke-on-Trent district, in the ceremonial county of Staffordshire, England. It is near Meir. Florence Colliery was built in 1874, and demolished in 1994. Florence became a civil parish in 1894, being formed from the part of Trentham parish in Longton Municipal Borough. On 1 April 1896 the parish was abolished and merged with Longton.

Normacot railway station served the Normacot area of Stoke-on-Trent, England. It was opened in 1882 by the North Staffordshire Railway on its line to Derby.The station closed in 1964 and nothing remains of the station today.

The village features a well known public house named The Windmill, the car park of which contains a windmill with a new boat cap, door new windows new beams making it safe to go inside. Meir Heath Cricket Club was formed in 1946 and continues to offer cricket tuition to boys and girls of all ages. The club also features men's and women's teams who continue the club's successful profile.

The Gladstone Pottery Museum is a working museum of a medium-sized coal-fired pottery, typical of those once common in the North Staffordshire area of England from the time of the industrial revolution in the 18th century to the mid 20th century. It is a grade II* listed building.The museum is located in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. It is also included in one of the regional routes of the European Route of Industrial Heritage. Despite the name of the museum, it is a complex of buildings from two works, the Gladstone and the Roslyn. The protected features include the kilns. As there are fewer than 50 surviving bottle ovens in Stoke-on-Trent (and only a scattering elsewhere in the UK), the museum's kilns along with others in the Longton conservation area represent a significant proportion of the national stock of the structures.In 1976, the Gladstone Pottery Museum was awarded National Heritage Museum of the Year.

Jollees was a live music and cabaret venue in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. The venue was re-established in March 2016, after having closed in 1992. The original venue was opened in October 1973 and was the largest capacity cabaret venue in the UK in the 1970s. It also hosted the World Professional Darts Championship from 1979 to 1985.
