Normacot is an area of Stoke-on-Trent, in the county of Staffordshire, England. Notable buildings include the church of the Holy Evangelists by Scott.The district used to be served by Normacot railway station, but although the Crewe–Derby line is still open, the station was closed in 1964.

Dresden is a southern district of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, on Trentham Road (A5035) south of Longton. The district was developed in the 1850s by a housing society in an area formerly called Spratslade.

Lightwood is a suburb of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. It is located to the south of Longton, and Lightwood Road runs from here to Rough Close. The area gives its name to the Lightwood Hoard, a substantial collection of Roman coins discovered buried in the garden of a house on Lightwood Road in 1960.Though containing mostly private housing, the area includes a Methodist chapel constructed in 1816 which is a Grade II listed building.

The Gladstone Pottery Museum is a working museum of a medium-sized coal-fired pottery, typical of those once common in the North Staffordshire area of England from the time of the industrial revolution in the 18th century to the mid 20th century. It is a grade II* listed building.The museum is located in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. It is also included in one of the regional routes of the European Route of Industrial Heritage. Despite the name of the museum, it is a complex of buildings from two works, the Gladstone and the Roslyn. The protected features include the kilns. As there are fewer than 50 surviving bottle ovens in Stoke-on-Trent (and only a scattering elsewhere in the UK), the museum's kilns along with others in the Longton conservation area represent a significant proportion of the national stock of the structures.In 1976, the Gladstone Pottery Museum was awarded National Heritage Museum of the Year.

Jollees was a live music and cabaret venue in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. The venue was re-established in March 2016, after having closed in 1992. The original venue was opened in October 1973 and was the largest capacity cabaret venue in the UK in the 1970s. It also hosted the World Professional Darts Championship from 1979 to 1985.

The Empire Theatre (earlier the Queen's Theatre) was a theatre in Longton in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It was later a cinema and a bingo hall; it was destroyed by fire in 1992.

Normacot railway station served the Normacot area of Stoke-on-Trent, England. It was opened in 1882 by the North Staffordshire Railway on its line to Derby.The station closed in 1964 and nothing remains of the station today.

Adderley Green is a village in Staffordshire, England. It is included in the township of Longton with the population at the 2011 census being listed under the Stoke Ward of Sandford Hill. It was a centre for mining activities in the 19th century. In 2010 the Adderley Green Residents Association began an annual Summer Festival. The Festival is in July each year and includes live music, football matches and stalls.
