Hattem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦɑtəm] ) is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands. The municipality had a population of 12,228 in 2021. The municipality includes the hamlet of 't Zand.

The Grote of Andreaskerk (The Great Church of St. Andrew) is the oldest church building of Hattem. It is situated in the city centre. It is used by the Reformed Protestant community of Hattem for holding church services. Organ concerts and other musical events are also organised in the building.

The Dijkpoort is a 14th-century citygate in Hattem, the Netherlands. In 1908, the gate was restored in order to house the archives of Hattem under the direction of the city archivist F.A. Hoefer. It is the only remaining city gate of Hattem, and it was refurbished and partially reconstructed by the architect Pierre Cuypers. A wall walk and corner turrets were added which are recognizable by the different colors of the stones. Outside of the city beyond this gate, another "front gate" was formerly located with two round towers. A small piece of city wall is still standing that connected the two, where shooting holes for cannon and arquebus can be seen. Until 2013 the gate was open for auto traffic but it was discovered that this had damaged the gate and restoration activities included closing it to all but pedestrians and cyclists.

Heerde (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦeːrdə] (listen)) is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands. Compared to the rest of the Netherlands, Heerde is fairly religious, as are many of the towns and cities in the Veluwe region.

Veessen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Heerde. Veessen was a separate municipality between 1812 and 1818, when it was merged with Heerde.It was first mentioned in 1217 as Vesce. The etymology is unclear. Veessen is an esdorp near the IJssel River. Later, it developed into a linear settlement on the dike. The Dutch Reformed has been built in 1843 as a replacement of a medieval church. The Mölle van Bats is a grist mill built in 1779. A stream engine driven mill was built next to windmill in 1888. In 1840, Veessen was home to 775 people.

Windesheim is a village in the municipality of Zwolle in the province of Overijssel, Netherlands. The Congregation of Windesheim was located in Windesheim from 1387 until 1577.

The Wijhe Ferry is a cable ferry across the IJssel in the Netherlands. The ferry crosses from Wijhe in Overijssel to Vorchten in Gelderland. The crossing is located some 17 kilometres (11 mi) south of Zwolle.

The institute also operates the Windesheim Honours College. It offers a four-year bachelor's degree program in Global Project and Change Management.Windesheim has over 50 bachelor programs in the following fields of expertise: Business, Media and Law; Education; Engineering and ICT; Health and Social Work; Journalism and Communication; and Sport and Therapy. Windesheim offers two bachelor's program for international students that are administered in English: International Business, and Global Project and Change Management.

Wijhe (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈʋɛiə]) is a village in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is located in the municipality of Olst-Wijhe and is situated about 12 km south of Zwolle on the banks of the river IJssel. Wijhe was a separate municipality until 2001, when it merged with Olst.

Wezep is a railway station located in Wezep, Netherlands. The station was opened in 1863 and is located on the Amersfoort–Zwolle section of the Utrecht–Kampen railway (Centraalspoorweg). The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

Wijhe is a railway station located in Wijhe, Olst-Wijhe, The Netherlands. The station was opened on 1 October 1866 and is located on the Deventer - Zwolle section of the Arnhem–Leeuwarden railway. The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The station was closed between 15 May 1936 and 1 June 1940.

Zwolle is the main railway station of Zwolle in Overijssel, Netherlands. The station opened on 6 June 1864 and is on the Utrecht–Kampen railway, also known as the Centraalspoorweg, the Zwolle–Almelo railway, the Arnhem–Leeuwarden railway, the Zwolle–Stadskanaal railway and the Lelystad–Zwolle railway, also known as the Hanzelijn. The station is a major hub for the Northern Netherlands. It is the only way trains can get from the north of the country, to any other region of the Netherlands.
