Coxbank Halt railway station

Audlem railway station was a station on the former Great Western Railway between Market Drayton and Nantwich, opened in 1863. It served the village of Audlem in Cheshire, England until closure in 1963. The station was immortalised in the song "Slow Train" by Flanders and Swann.

It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield and the deanery of Nantwich. Its benefice is combined with those of St John, Doddington, and St Chad, Wybunbury. The church stands in an elevated position in the centre of the village.

Audlem is a village and civil parish located in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire in North West England, approximately 7 mi (11 km) south of Nantwich. Close to the border with the neighbouring county of Shropshire, the village is eight miles (13 km) east of Whitchurch and seven miles (11 km) north of Market Drayton. According to the 2001 census, the population of the entire civil parish was 1,790, increasing to 1,991 at the 2011 Census.

Moss Hall, Audlem, is a manor house 0.5 miles (1 km) north-west of Audlem, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I-listed building. The Hall overlooks the Shropshire Union Canal.Moss Hall was built in 1616 for Hugh Massey, then owned by Edward Legh of Baguley Hall. It is timber-framed with rendered infill, and close studded with a middle rail to both floors. It is in two storeys with attics, and has a plain tile roof. The entrance front has five bays with four gables. The house is nearly symmetrical, is E-shaped, and is set on an ashlar plinth. In its centre is a two-storey gabled porch wing, which is a later addition. The first floor is jettied and supported on carved brackets. It has been described as "a surprisingly complete example of a gentleman's house of the early 17th century".

Adderley is a village and civil parish in the English county of Shropshire, several kilometres north of Market Drayton. It is known as Eldredelei in the Domesday Book. The Irish statesman Robert le Poer was parish priest of Adderley in 1319.Here is the description of the village from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868): "ADDERLEY, (or Atherley), a parish in the hundred of North Bradford, in the county of Salop, 4 miles to the N.W. of Market Drayton. It is situated on the Grand Junction canal and the river Weaver. It comprises the townships of the Morrey and Spoonley. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Lichfield value £665, in the patronage of Richard Corbet. The church is dedicated to St. Peter. The parochial charities amount to £68 a year. Shavington Hall, the residence of the Earl of Kilmorey, and Adderley Hall are the principal seats."St Peter's Church, rebuilt in 1801, is a grade I listed building.Among local facilities is a village hall, opened in 1921 as a First World War war memorial to local men who are commemorated on a brass tablet indoors. The hall replaced a club room which had become inadequate for the needs of the village.Adderley Hall was completed in 1881 when rebuilt after a fire but was demolished in 1955.

Its nave and tower form an active parish church in the united benefice of Adderley, Ash, Calverhall, Ightfield and Moreton Say, in the deanery of Hodnet, the archdeaconry of Salop, and the diocese of Lichfield. The chancel and transepts are under the care of The Churches Conservation Trust.

Little Heath is a village in the civil parish of Audlem, Cheshire, England. It is located to the north of Audlem, between Lonk Land and Audlem Road, the latter being part of today's A529 road.

Highfields is a small country house in the civil parish of Buerton, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.The house is dated 1615. It was built for the Dod family and additions were made in 1750 by William Baker, and again in 1897. It is timber-framed on an ashlar plinth with rendered infill and a plain tiled roof. The house consists of two storeys with an attic. The front elevation has five bays which are symmetrically disposed with projecting gabled wings on both sides. Both floors have close-studded walling with a middle rail. The first floor is jettied, as are the gables of the two lateral wings.

Ball Farm is the oldest surviving building in the village of Hankelow, near Audlem in Cheshire, England, and is thought to date from 1510. Most of its original timber frame was replaced by brick in the 19th century, but some close studding and small framing survives, as well as part of a mullioned-and-transomed window. Ball Farm was occupied by the Hassalls, a prominent local family, and might have once been used as a district court of justice. It is listed at grade II* by the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England, the middle of the three grades, denoting "particularly important buildings of more than special interest".

Hankelow is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village lies on the A529, around 1.25 miles (2.0 km) north east of Audlem and 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of Nantwich. The civil parish has an area 369 hectares (910 acres) and also includes the small settlement of The Dell and part of Corbrook, with a total population of just over 260 in 2011. Nearby villages include Aston, Broomhall Green, Sound, Hatherton and Buerton in Cheshire and Woore in Shropshire.Hankelow is first documented in the 13th century, and the village historically had a school, two chapels, two public houses, a water mill, post office, shop and other facilities. Only a Methodist chapel – also used as a community centre – remained open in 2020. Two buildings are listed at grade II*: the 16th-century Ball Farmhouse and the 18th-century Hankelow Hall. Outside the village, the civil parish is predominantly rural and agricultural. The River Weaver runs in the west of the parish, and there is a small area of probable ancient woodland in the north east.
