Sainte-Croix station is located on line of the tramway de Bordeaux.

The Pont de pierre, or "Stone Bridge" in English, is a bridge in Bordeaux, (in the Gironde department of France), which connects the left bank of the river Garonne (cours Victor Hugo) to the right bank quartier de la Bastide (Avenue Thiers). It is 487 m (1,598 ft) in length and 19 m (62 ft) wide. It constitutes the legal frontier between the maritime domain and the river domain in the port of Bordeaux.

The Conservatoire de Bordeaux is an arts conservatory that offers higher education in music, dance and drama in Bordeaux, France. It is one of the leading schools in France for singers and saxophonists. Founded in 1821, the school is operated by the French Ministry of Culture.

Saint-Michel station is located on Line C of the tramway de Bordeaux.

The Church of the Holy Cross (French: Église Sainte-Croix) is a Roman Catholic church located in Bordeaux, southern France.It was formerly the church of a Benedictine abbey founded in the 7th century, and was built in the late 11th-early 12th centuries. The façade is in the Romanesque architectural style. The church has a nave and four aisles, a transept with apses on each arm, and a polygonal apse. The nave is 39 m long, while the apse is 15.30 m high. Its organ dates from the 18th century. In the 19th century, the church was renovated by Paul Abadie. The former Benedictine abbey now houses the École des beaux-arts de Bordeaux.

Tauzia station is located on line of the tramway de Bordeaux.

The Jardin botanique de la Bastide (4 hectares) is the new municipal botanical garden located on the right bank of the Garonne, along the Allée Jean Giono in Bordeaux, Gironde, Aquitaine, France. It is open daily without charge. This garden is an offshoot of the older Jardin botanique de Bordeaux, located across the river. The garden opened in 2003 and is organized into six sections, including an arboretum, fields of grain, an alley of vines, and a water garden (1,250 m²). It also contains greenhouses, as well as eleven landscapes representing the environments of Aquitaine, including dune, cliff, wet grassland, moorland, etc.

The Basilica of St Michael (Basilique Saint-Michel, in French), is a Flamboyant Gothic church in Bordeaux, France. In 1998, UNESCO designated the Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France as a World Heritage Site, including the three main churches of Bordeaux : the basilica of St Severinus, the basilica of St Michael and the cathedral of St Andrew.

The Porte de Bourgogne tram stop is located on lines A, C and D of the tramway de Bordeaux. This stations serves as a junction between two lines. It also allows the passage from one line to another through a switch between the two lines.

Gare Saint-Jean station is located on lines C and D of the Bordeaux tramway network. The station served as the terminus of the line C until 27 February 2008 when it was expanded to station Pyrénées (in Villenave-d'Ornon).

Bordeaux-Saint-Jean (Occitan: Bordèu Sent Joan) or formerly Bordeaux-Midi is the main railway station in the French city of Bordeaux. It is the southern terminus of the Paris–Bordeaux railway, and the western terminus of the Chemins de fer du Midi main line from Toulouse. The station is the main railway interchange in Aquitaine and links Bordeaux to Paris, Sète, Toulouse Matabiau and Spain. The station building is situated in the centre of Bordeaux at the end of the Cours de la Marne, and has a large metallic trainshed, built by Gustave Eiffel. Since the arrival of the TGV the station has been renovated and upgraded with modern equipment, but has kept its original features.

German submarine U-188 was a Type IXC/40 U-boat of Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine built for service during World War II. Laid down on 18 August 1941 by Deutsche Schiff- und Maschinenbau AG (DeSchiMAG) of Bremen as yard number 1028, she was launched on 31 March 1942 and commissioned on 5 August under the command of Oberleutnant zur See Siegfried Lüdden. The boat carried out three patrols and she was a member of three wolfpacks. She sank eight ships and one warship; she also damaged one ship. She was scuttled at Bordeaux, France on 25 August 1944. The wreck was broken up in 1947.
