The Schueberfouer is the annual Luxembourg City funfair held on the Glacis square in the city district of Limpertsberg. The 681st edition of the largest amusement park in the wider region beyond national borders will start on 23 August 2023 and ends on 11 September 2023.Traditionally, the Schueberfouer starts on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday before Saint Bartholomew's day (24 August) and closes on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before 12 September in order to last 20 days every year. In 2010, the fair comprised 184 attractions including 27 major rides, 13 children's rides and 54 restaurants and snacks bars. In 2018, the fair was expected to attract over 2 million visitors.

The Notre-Dame Cemetery (French: Cimetière Notre-Dame, German: Liebfrauenfriedhof) in Luxembourgish more commonly the Nikloskierfecht, or "St. Nicholas Graveyard", is located in the Limpertsberg quarter of Luxembourg City. It is the largest of the 14 cemeteries and graveyards managed by the Service Cimetières of the City of Luxembourg.

The Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, inaugurated in 1964 as the Théâtre Municipal de la Ville de Luxembourg is the city's major venue for drama, opera and ballet. It underwent renovation work in 2002–2003 resulting in substantial improvements to the stage technology, acoustics and lighting facilities.

The Eurovision Song Contest 1962 was the 7th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, following the country's victory at the 1961 contest with the song "Nous les amoureux" by Jean-Claude Pascal. The contest was organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Compagnie Luxembourgeoise de Télédiffusion (CLT), and was held at the Villa Louvigny on Sunday 18 March 1962 hosted by the Luxembourgish speaker Mireille Delannoy. This remains the last time that the final of the contest was not held on a Saturday, as since 1963 the final of the contest has consistently been held on a Saturday evening. Sixteen countries participated in the contest – the same that took part the year before. The winner was France with the song "Un premier amour", performed by Isabelle Aubret, written by Roland Valade and composed by Claude Henri Vic. This was France's third victory in the contest in just five years, having also won in 1958 and 1960. It was also the third consecutive winning song performed in French. For the first time in the contest's history, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and Spain all scored nul points.

Villa Louvigny is a building in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg, that served as the headquarters of Compagnie Luxembourgeoise de Télédiffusion, the forerunner of RTL Group. It is located in Municipal Park, in the Ville Haute quarter of the centre of the city.

Muhlenbach (Luxembourgish: Millebaach, pronounced [ˈmiləbaːχ] ; German: Mühlenbach) is a quarter in north-western Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. As of 31 December 2022, the quarter has a population of 2,470 inhabitants.

Le passe-muraille (French: The Walker-Through-Walls), also known as Chambre sensorielle, is the name of a bronze sculpture created in 2006 by French sculptor Jean-Bernard Métais. It is located in the "Parc du Pescatore" in Luxembourg City and was set up over the old casemate-network of the city. The sculpture is made out of two bronze hemispheres; it is 3 meters high and has a diameter of 6 meters. One can enter Le Passe-muraille through these hemispheres. 8,000 holes let the landscape shine through. Le passe-mureille was inaugurated on December 24, 2006, in the presence of Andrée Putman, Paul Helminger (mayor) and other notable guests.It does not carry the signature of the artist.

The Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge (Luxembourgish: Groussherzogin-Charlotte-Bréck, French: Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, German: Großherzogin-Charlotte-Brücke) is a road bridge in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It carries the N51 across the Alzette, connecting Avenue John F. Kennedy, in Kirchberg, to Boulevard Robert Schuman, in Limpertsberg. The bridge is also known as the Red Bridge (Luxembourgish: Rout Bréck, German: Rote Brücke, French: Pont Rouge) on account of its distinctive red paintwork. It is the main route connecting the city centre, Ville Haute, to Kirchberg, the site of the city's European Union institutions.
