Jesus the Worker, Vitoria

ALBOAN is the outreach arm of the Loyola Province of the Society of Jesus for development and social action. It was founded in 1996 but has roots in mission secretariats in San Sebastián, Spain, in Gujarat, India, and in the Far East. It is situated in Spain, specifically in Bilbao, Basque Country and Pamplona, Navarre. In 2004 support for Fe y Alegría was incorporated into ALBOAN. In 2009 offices opened in all provincial capitals and Navarre, with headquarters in Vitoria.

The Álava Fournier Museum of Playing Cards (Spanish: Museo Fournier de Naipes de Álava, Basque: Arabako Fournier Karta Museoa) is a playing card museum located in Vitoria, Spain. It originated as a private collection in 1916 by Félix Alfaro Fournier, the grandson of the founder of Naipes Heraclio Fournier. It was bought by the government of Álava and was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1984. In 1994, it moved to its current location in the Bendaña palace which it shares with the Álava Museum of Archaeology.

The Cathedral of Santa María de Vitoria (Basque: Santa Maria katedrala, Spanish: Catedral de Santa María) is a Gothic-style, Roman Catholic cathedral located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque country, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1931 and a World Heritage Site (as part of the Camino de Santiago) in 2015.

The Casa del Cordón (Spanish for 'House of the String', Basque: Sokaren etxea) is a building in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1984. It was built in the 15th century by converso Juan Sánchez de Bilbao around a previously existing tower house. As of 2022, the building is the seat of the Fundación Vital, a banking foundation part of Kutxabank.

The Church of San Vicente Mártir (Spanish: Iglesia de San Vicente Mártir, Basque: San Bizente eliza) is a church located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1984.The church is named after Saint Vincent of Saragossa, a 4th century martyr. The church was built in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The current tower, of Neo-Byzantine style, was finished in 1872.

On March 3, 1976, the Spanish Armed Police Corps used tear gas to force the workers on strike out of the parish Church of San Francisco de Asís in the Basque capital of Vitoria. As the workers left the church, they were shot by the police, resulting in 5 dead and 150 injured with gunshot wounds. The same police later described the events as a massacre. The event inspired Lluís Llach to write the celebrated song Campanades a morts.

Los Arquillos (Spanish for 'the small arches', Basque: Arkupea) is an 18th-century structure located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. It was architecturally designed to link the old part of the town situated on the higher ground with the new part of the town then under construction on lower ground.It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1984.

The Church of San Miguel (Spanish: Iglesia de San Miguel Arcángel, Basque: San Migel Goiaingeruaren eliza) is a church located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1995.The retable of the church is a baroque altarpiece, it is one of the finest works by Gregorio Fernández and his workshop.

The Lantern Museum (Basque: Farolen museoa, Spanish: Museo de los Faroles) is located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava, Basque Country, Spain. It houses the lanterns used in the Rosary of the Lanterns procession, celebrated every 4th of August during the Virgen Blanca Festivities.

The Plaza de los Fueros is a plaza or square located in the city centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz, which is the capital of the Basque Country, Spain. It was built in 1979 in memory of the county code of laws named fuero in Spanish.
