Adderley Park is an area in the east of Birmingham, England. Charles Adderley MP donated 10 acres (4.0 ha) of land to create the park, which he managed privately from 1855 to 1864. The park was opened to the public on 30 August 1856. At the park's entrance were buildings housing a library, reading room and museum. The buildings have since been demolished. The area is served by Adderley Park railway station.

The Museum Collection Centre (MCC) in Nechells, Birmingham, England, is a 1.5-hectare (3.7-acre) building that holds 80% of Birmingham Museums Trust's stored collections under one roof. It is one of the UK's largest museum stores. Among the thousands of objects stored there are steam engines (many of which are from the former Birmingham Museum of Science and Industry), sculptures, a collection of Austin, Rover and MG motor cars, a red phone box and a Sinclair C5. It opens to the public monthly, or by arrangement. There are also other open days, which tend to take place during the Spring and Summer Bank Holidays.The Museum Collection Centre is also home to The Museum in a Box service which enables schools and community groups to borrow original artefacts. In September 2014 then-trainee curator Lukas Large uncovered a taxidermied specimen of the long-extinct North American passenger pigeon (Ectopistes migratorius) in the collection.

Services on the Cross-City Line (and occasionally on the Walsall line) are usually operated by Class 323 electric multiple units, while Class 350 electric multiple units are commonly used on services to and from Walsall.

The City of Birmingham Stadium was a proposed multi-purpose stadium in the Saltley area of Birmingham, England, originally for Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Birmingham City F.C. to replace the current Edgbaston Cricket Ground and St Andrew's Stadium respectively. The cricket club cancelled these plans however, and only the football club remained interested. The original proposal was the centrepiece of a larger scheme to create a £300 million sports village on a 60-acre (240,000 m2) site.The proposal was for a 55,000-seat arena was to be part-funded by Las Vegas Sands, but the hopes of securing a licence for a super casino on site were rejected and Birmingham City F.C. were then unable to proceed with the plans for the stadium.

Birmingham Wheels Park (formerly Wheels Adventure Park) is a dedicated Wheeled-sports park with a short-track oval motor racing circuit, MSA approved kart circuit, drifting arenas, off-road rally stage and the UK's only purpose-built outdoor speed-skating arena. It is based in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham, England. Formerly run by a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee, and controlled by Birmingham City Council. It is now operated by Motor Racing Live Ltd.

St Saviour's Church, Saltley is a Grade II listed parish church in the Church of England in Birmingham.

Saltley railway station was a railway station in Saltley, Birmingham, England, opened by the Midland Railway in 1854 and rebuilt in 1899. Consisting of an island platform, it was on the line into Birmingham New Street from Water Orton. It closed to all traffic in 1968.

Bloomsbury and Nechells railway station served the district of Nechells, Birmingham, England, from 1856 to 1869 by the London and North Western Railway on their Grand Junction line.

Bordesley is an area of Birmingham, England, 1.2 miles (2 km) south east of the city centre straddling the Watery Lane Middleway ring road. It should not be confused with nearby Bordesley Green. Commercial premises dominate to the west of the ring road, but much of this area is to be redeveloped. Blocks of residential apartments are planned and set for completion from the mid-2020s onwards. The largely residential area east of the ring road was renamed Bordesley Village following large scale clearance of back-to-back houses and redevelopment in the 1980s and 90s. Bordesley is the real life setting of the BBC series Peaky Blinders, and home to Birmingham City Football Club's ground, St Andrew's.
