Christian Heritage School is a private, non-denominational, college preparatory Christian school in Trumbull, Connecticut, providing education to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The Unity Burial Ground is a small graveyard located on the southeast end of White Plain in the Nichols section of Trumbull, Connecticut. It is located a few rods north of the site of the first meeting house that was built in the parish of Unity, off of White Plains Road. The cemetery was laid out in 1730 and the first burial was that of 7 year old Samuel Bennitt on June 21, 1731. There are over 110 gravestones, 90 unmarked field stones and 241 known grave sites, and most of the original stones face east. This is unusual, as it runs contrary to the common practice of placing stones so that they face the road. The latest known burial was for Charles E Booth Jr. on August 17, 1935.

Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is the only Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA)-accredited zoo in the state of Connecticut. The zoo includes one of the few carousels in the state. The zoo has around 500 animals, from over 100 species, and welcomes about 280,000 visitors a year.

WCUM (1450 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish tropical format simulcasting WRYM (840 AM) & WWCO (1240 AM). Licensed to Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States, it serves the Bridgeport area. WCUM’s transmitter and studios are both located on State Street and Chopsey Road in Bridgeport. The station is owned by David Webster, through licensee Trignition Media, LLC. The station was known as WNAB until 1985 when it left the air. It returned with an oldies format later that year as WJBX and later became Radio Cumbre in 1989. And then was purchased by David Webster of Trignition Media, LLC on June 11, 2023. On July 11, 2023 WCUM began simulcasting WRYM.

Trumbull Center is a section or neighborhood of the town of Trumbull in Fairfield County, Connecticut in New England. It is considered the center of the town, and was the seat of town government from 1883 through 1957. The Pequonnock River flows through the center in an easterly direction. The main thoroughfare is Connecticut Route 127 (aka Church Hill Road & White Plains Road). The area was listed as a census-designated place (CDP) prior to the 2020 census.

Success Lake is a reservoir in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The elevation of the reservoir is 46 feet. It is located in the 435 acre Lake Success Business Park, which was used to produce ammunition and explosives by the Remington Arms Company from 1905 through 1989 as it was then called "Remington Woods".

Nichols Farms is a historic area within the town of Trumbull, Connecticut. The Nichols Farms Historic District, which encompasses part of the area, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally home to the Paugusset people, the Nichols area was colonized by the English during the Great Migration of the 1630s as a part of the coastal settlement of Stratford. The first English settlements followed soon after settlement of the mother-town in 1639.The area was governed by Stratford for eighty six years before a separate village was organized in 1725. Hence, all of Nichols Farms early public records are intermingled with and identified as Stratford records. The early English settlers named Nichols after the family who maintained a large farm in its center. It was first organized as the village of Unity in 1725. The village of Unity (later called North Stratford) continued for seventy-two years before the privileges of a town were granted in 1797.

The Zachariah Curtiss House is located at 2950 Nichols Avenue on the east side of the Farm Highway or Route 108 on the south side of Mischa Hill, in the village of Nichols in Trumbull, Connecticut in New England. The house was built by Zachariah II between 1721 and 1746 in the Georgian architectural style. The Colonial American wooden post-and-beam timber frame farm house has a one and one-half story ell added in 1800. The house has the distinction of being located in four different townships in its history, but has never been moved; Stratford (1686–1725), Unity (1725–1744), North Stratford (1744–1797) and Trumbull (1797-present). It is currently in a dilapidated state awaiting demolition.

The Ephraim Hawley House is a privately owned Colonial American wooden post-and-beam timber-frame saltbox house situated on the Farm Highway, Route 108, on the south side of Mischa Hill, in Nichols, a village located within Trumbull, Connecticut, in the New England region of the U.S. It was expanded to its present shape by three additions. The oak framing was carbon dated to 1710. The house is unique, it has been located in four different named townships in its past, but has never been moved; Stratford (1670–1725), Unity (1725–1744), North Stratford (1744–1797) and Trumbull (1797–present).

Nichols, a historic village in southeastern Trumbull in Fairfield County, Connecticut, is named after the family who maintained a large farm in its center for almost 300 years. The Nichols Farms Historic District, which encompasses part of the village, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally home to the Golden Hill Paugussett Indian Nation, the area was colonized by the English during the Great Migration of the 1630s as a part of the coastal settlement of Stratford. The construction of the Merritt Parkway through the village, and the subsequent closing of stores and factories, turned the village into a bedroom community in 1939. Aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky lived in three separate homes in Nichols during his active years between 1928 and 1951, when he designed, built and flew fixed-wing aircraft and put the helicopter into mass production for the first time.

The Lakeview Village Historic District encompasses a historic World War I-era housing project on the east side of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Located northeast of Boston Avenue (United States Route 1) and west of Lakeview Cemetery, the development was built in 1918–20 to provide emergency housing for an influx of workers to the city's war production industries, and is a good early example of a Garden City movement subdivision. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
