Herisau railway station (German: Bahnhof Herisau) is a railway station in Herisau, in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It is an intermediate station on the 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) standard gauge Bodensee–Toggenburg line of Südostbahn and the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Gossau–Wasserauen line of Appenzell Railways. Both companies have separate tracks and facilities, separated by Bahnhofplatz.

Herisau is a municipality and the capital of the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden in Switzerland. It is the seat of the canton's government and parliament; the judicial authorities are situated in Trogen. The central hamlet and the houses around the central square, the Protestant church of 1580, the houses Wetter and zur Rose (both 1737), the hamlet Schwänberg and the government building with the state archive are listed as heritage sites of national significance.Together with other Alpine towns Herisau engages in the Alpine Town of the Year Association for the implementation of the Alpine Convention to achieve sustainable development in the Alpine Arc. Herisau was awarded Alpine Town of the Year 2003.

St. Gallen Winkeln railway station (German: Bahnhof St. Gallen Winkeln) is a railway station in the Winkeln neighborhood of St. Gallen, in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. It is an intermediate stop on the St. Gallen–Winterthur line.

Wilen railway station (German: Bahnhof Wilen), also known as Herisau Wilen, is a railway station in the municipality of Herisau, in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It is located on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Gossau–Wasserauen line of Appenzell Railways.

Gründenmoos is a sport facility in St.Gallen, Switzerland. It is used mainly for football and American football is the training ground for St Gallen Bears American football club, FC St. Gallen and for FC Winkeln. The stadium has a capacity of 4,500. Since 1981 it is used for the CSIO Switzerland horse show jumping event.

Grün Stadt Zürich, commonly shortened to GSZ, is the Office of Parks and Open Spaces being a service of the Civil Engineering and Waste Management Department of Swiss city of Zürich. Gsz is responsible for creating, preserving and maintaining the city's park system, sports facilities, urban forests, cemeteries, public swimming pools and playgrounds. Ten farms, nine of which are leased out, several nature schools, the local plant nursery, the Succulent Plant Collection and the Chinagarten are also operated, as well as the Quaianlagen promenades at the Zürichsee lake shore.

A Giger Bar is a bar themed and modelled by the Swiss artist H. R. Giger. There are two Giger Bars: the first, the H.R. Giger Bar in Chur, Switzerland, which opened in 1992, and the second is The Museum HR Giger Bar, located in Château St. Germain, Gruyères, Switzerland, which opened on April 12, 2003. The interior of the bars are themed along the lines of his biomechanical style as shown in the Alien films. The roof, walls, fittings and chairs are all modelled by the artist and fit into the same designs as seen in the films he designed, notably "Alien". The prominent high-backed Harkonnen Chair design was originally intended as a Harkonnen throne for an abandoned Dune film project. In 2013, the founder of the Sci-Fi Hotel chain, Andy Davies, partnered with artist Giger to establish the Giger Bar brand in the United States as part of the company's development plans.

Geneva English School (GES) is a British international primary and secondary school with campuses in Genthod, Canton of Geneva, Switzerland and Versoix, Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.Founded in 1961, the school offers an enhanced UK national curriculum with a strong focus on French language. In 2015 the school opened a new secondary campus, which has been growing organically year on year. GES currently educates 3 - 18 year olds and will be an all-through school by 2022.

Established in 2004 in Geneva, GIDD provides data, analysis and recommendations, based on open sources, to policymakers, researchers, media and the interested public.

The Kybunpark, formerly known as AFG Arena, is a multi-use stadium in St. Gallen, Switzerland, completed in 2008. It is used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of FC St. Gallen of the Swiss Super League. It replaces the Espenmoos stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people. Between 2008 and 2016 the stadium was named after the sponsor Arbonia-Forster-Gruppe (AFG). In July 2016 the name was changed to Kybunpark.When it was completed, FC St. Gallen had just been just relegated to the Challenge League. The first match in the new stadium was played on 30 May 2008 when Switzerland won against Liechtenstein 3:0 (18,000 spectators). The official inauguration was held on 5 July 2008. Starting July 2012, the Kybunpark is also the temporary home of FC Wil, while the second division side builds its own new stadium to meet Swiss Football League requirements. The Kybunpark is used as well for international games between national football teams, such as Brazil or Spain.

Rosenburg Castle is a ruined castle located to the west of the municipality of Herisau in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. The castle is on the Ramsenstock (926 m (3,038 ft)) and is therefore also called Ramsenburg.
