Grün Stadt Zürich, commonly shortened to GSZ, is the Office of Parks and Open Spaces being a service of the Civil Engineering and Waste Management Department of Swiss city of Zürich. Gsz is responsible for creating, preserving and maintaining the city's park system, sports facilities, urban forests, cemeteries, public swimming pools and playgrounds. Ten farms, nine of which are leased out, several nature schools, the local plant nursery, the Succulent Plant Collection and the Chinagarten are also operated, as well as the Quaianlagen promenades at the Zürichsee lake shore.

Galerie Eva Presenhuber is a contemporary art gallery, owned by Eva Presenhuber, with locations in Zurich, Switzerland (since 2003) and Vienna (since 2022).

A Giger Bar is a bar themed and modelled by the Swiss artist H. R. Giger. There are two Giger Bars: the first, the H.R. Giger Bar in Chur, Switzerland, which opened in 1992, and the second is The Museum HR Giger Bar, located in Château St. Germain, Gruyères, Switzerland, which opened on April 12, 2003. The interior of the bars are themed along the lines of his biomechanical style as shown in the Alien films. The roof, walls, fittings and chairs are all modelled by the artist and fit into the same designs as seen in the films he designed, notably "Alien". The prominent high-backed Harkonnen Chair design was originally intended as a Harkonnen throne for an abandoned Dune film project. In 2013, the founder of the Sci-Fi Hotel chain, Andy Davies, partnered with artist Giger to establish the Giger Bar brand in the United States as part of the company's development plans.

The Geneva Institute for Democracy and Development (GIDD) is an independent international institute dedicated to research into peace, democracy, human rights and socio-economic problems. Established in 2004 in Geneva, GIDD provides data, analysis and recommendations, based on open sources, to policymakers, researchers, media and the interested public.

Gründenmoos is a sport facility in St.Gallen, Switzerland. It is used mainly for football and American football is the training ground for St Gallen Bears American football club, FC St. Gallen and for FC Winkeln. The stadium has a capacity of 4,500. Since 1981 it is used for the CSIO Switzerland horse show jumping event.

The Kybunpark, formerly known as AFG Arena, is a multi-use stadium in St. Gallen, Switzerland, completed in 2008. It is used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of FC St. Gallen of the Swiss Super League. It replaces the Espenmoos stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people. Between 2008 and 2016 the stadium was named after the sponsor Arbonia-Forster-Gruppe (AFG). In July 2016 the name was changed to Kybunpark.When it was completed, FC St. Gallen had just been just relegated to the Challenge League. The first match in the new stadium was played on 30 May 2008 when Switzerland won against Liechtenstein 3:0 (18,000 spectators). The official inauguration was held on 5 July 2008. Starting July 2012, the Kybunpark is also the temporary home of FC Wil, while the second division side builds its own new stadium to meet Swiss Football League requirements. The Kybunpark is used as well for international games between national football teams, such as Brazil or Spain.

St. Gallen Winkeln railway station (German: Bahnhof St. Gallen Winkeln) is a railway station in the Winkeln neighborhood of St. Gallen, in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. It is an intermediate stop on the St. Gallen–Winterthur line.

Gaiserwald is a municipality in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of St. Gallen in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. The municipality consists of the villages of St. Josefen, Abtwil and Engelburg.

Gübsensee is a reservoir near the city of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Its dams were built between 1898 and 1900, the first hydroelectric reservoir in Switzerland. Kraftwerk Kubel has generated electrical power there since 1900. Gübsensee Ost is a gravity dam with a height of 24 m, Gübsensee West an earthfill dam. The lake's surface area is 0.17 km2 (0.066 sq mi). Its volume is 1.5 mio m³. The Gübsensee and the surrounding area is today protected as a nature reserve

Open Air St. Gallen is an annual music festival held near the city of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Founded in 1977, it is one of Switzerland's biggest and longest-running open air festivals. It is attended by more than 110,000 people each year.

Rosenberg Castle is a ruined castle located near the villages of Burghalden and Schachen to the north of the municipality of Herisau in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden in Switzerland.

St. Gallen Bruggen railway station (German: Bahnhof St. Gallen Bruggen) is a railway station in the Bruggen neighborhood of St. Gallen, in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. It is an intermediate station on the St. Gallen–Winterthur line.
