Blackwell is an unincorporated community in a small part of Washington County and the extreme northern section of St. Francois County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately seven and a half miles south of De Soto. A variant name was "Blackwell Station". A post office called Blackwells Station was established in 1858, and the name was changed to Blackwell in 1885. The community has the name of Lavinia Blackwell and Margaret Blackwell, first settlers.

It is northwest of U.S. Route 67, 6 miles (10 km) north of Bonne Terre, 19 miles (31 km) southwest of Festus, and 53 miles (85 km) southwest of St. Louis. The community was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Settletown is an unincorporated community in St. Francois County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.Settletown was laid out in 1878, and named after Hattie and William Settle, the original owners of the town site.

Bee Run is a stream in northern St. Francois County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of the Big River. The stream headwaters arise on a hillside adjacent to an old railroad tunnel at 38°00′22″N 90°30′03″W. The stream flows southwest generally parallel to and northwest of Missouri Route 67 past the community of Silver Springs and the Lake Timberline area to its confluence with the Big River about three miles north of Bonne Terre at 37°58′00″N 90°33′32″W.Bee Run was so named on account of honeybees near its course.
