The MOD'SPE Paris, is a French private school of fashion. It has been founded in Paris in 1993 by the Fédération Française du Prêt-à-Porter Féminin. It has branches in Paris and Lille.In March 2021, the School joins IONIS Education Group, the main private group for higher education in France.

Cadet (French pronunciation: [kadɛ] (listen)) is a station on Line 7 of the Paris Métro. It is named after rue Cadet, itself named after M. Cadet de Chambine, owner of much of the land through which the street passes. The street was called rue de la Voirie before being renamed.

The rue Bleue is a street in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. In February 1789, for the beautiful eyes of the Comtesse de Buffon, the Duke of Orléans (Philippe Égalité) had the name of the street changed by a decree of the King's Council (February 19, 1789): "La rue d'Enfer will henceforth be called rue Bleue, a name which will be more easily remembered than any other, given that in the same district there is one which bears the name of rue Verte" (not really nearby, however, since it was therefore probably from the current rue de Penthièvre, in the 8th arrondissement). Another source mentions that the route receives its current name after a factory of blue balls founded in this street in 1802.

Poissonnière (French pronunciation: [pwasɔnjɛʁ] (listen)) is a station on Line 7 of the Paris Métro. It is located near the junction between rue La Fayette and rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, after which it is named and along which fishmongers (French: Poissonnières) brought fish from Boulogne-sur-Mer and other harbours on the Channel coast to the market at Les Halles in chasse-marées. The route from the coast generally followed that of a Roman Road and entered nineteenth century Paris at the Porte des Poissonniers.

The Rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière marks the boundary between the 9th and 10th arrondissements of Paris, the main thoroughfare of the old Faubourg Poissonnière district.

The Place du 8 Novembre 1942 is a public square located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, at the intersection of the Rue La Fayette and the Rue de Chabrol, and limited by the Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière.The name of the square commemorates the date, 8 November 1942, when in World War II the Operation Torch started, the British-American invasion of French North Africa during the North African campaign.

The Lycée Lamartine is a French institute of secondary education in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It combines a collège, a lycée, and a Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles (prep school for the Grandes écoles). The school is named for the 19th-century writer Alphonse de Lamartine.

The Folies Bergère (French pronunciation: ​[fɔ.li bɛʁ.ʒɛʁ]) is a cabaret music hall, located in Paris, France. Located at 32 Rue Richer in the 9th Arrondissement, the Folies Bergère was built as an opera house by the architect Plumeret. It opened on 2 May 1869 as the Folies Trévise, with light entertainment including operettas, comic opera, popular songs, and gymnastics. It became the Folies Bergère on 13 September 1872, named after nearby Rue Bergère. The house was at the height of its fame and popularity from the 1890s' Belle Époque through the 1920s. Revues featured extravagant costumes, sets and effects, and often nude women. In 1926, Josephine Baker, an African-American expatriate singer, dancer and entertainer, caused a sensation at the Folies Bergère by dancing in a costume consisting of a skirt made of a string of artificial bananas and little else. The institution is still in business, and is still a strong symbol of French and Parisian life.

Located at 106, rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, Rocroy Saint-Vincent de Paul is a mixed private Catholic school under contract of association with the State.

Église Saint-Eugène-Sainte-Cécile is a Roman Catholic church located at 6 rue Sainte-Cécile in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. In 1983 it was designated as a monument historique in its entirety. Designed in the Neo-Gothic style by Louis-Auguste Boileau and Louis-Adrien Lusson, the church was the first in France to use an entirely iron-framed construction. The first stone was laid in 1854, and the building was completed in 1855.

Hôtel du Grand Orient de France is a hôtel particulier located at 16 rue Cadet, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, where the Grand Orient de France was established in 1853. The hotel also houses the Musée de la Franc-Maçonnerie.

The Musée de la Franc-Maçonnerie (French Museum of Freemasonry) is a museum of Freemasonry located in the 9th arrondissement at 16, rue Cadet, Paris, France. It is open daily except Sundays and Mondays; an admission fee is charged. The closest métro station is Cadet. The museum was established in 1889 by the Grand Orient de France as a cabinet of curiosities in the Hotel Cadet. It was despoiled in the German occupation of France during World War II but reopened in 1973, and in 2000 became an official museum of France. In that same year, many of its historical documents were returned from Moscow, where they had been held by the KGB after Germany's defeat in World War II. Today, the museum presents the history of French Freemasonry through its symbols, grades, documents, and objects. It contains approximately 10,000 items displayed in permanent exhibit space (800 m²), about 23,000 volumes in its archives (400 m²), and a further 400 m² dedicated to temporary exhibits. Among the historically important items in its collection are Voltaire's masonic apron (1778), Lafayette's masonic sword, a first edition of James Anderson's Constitutions of the Free Masons (1723), satirical prints by William Hogarth (1697-1764), Meissen porcelain figurine (1740), etc.
