Higher Downs is a moorland in the parish of Morvah in west Cornwall, England.

Chûn Castle is a large Iron Age hillfort (ringfort) near Penzance in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The fort was built about 2,500 years ago, and fell into disuse until the early centuries AD when it was possibly re-occupied to protect the nearby tin mines. It stands beside a prehistoric trackway that was formerly known as the Old St Ives Road and the Tinners’ Way. The name Chûn derives from Cornish: Chi an Woon (‘the house on the downs’). The area is now sometimes known as Chûn Downs. Nearby is Chûn Quoit.

St Bridget's Church, Morvah is a parish church in the Church of England Diocese of Truro located in Morvah, Cornwall, UK. It was licensed for divine service by the Bishop of Exeter on 22 September 1400. The tower is the only remaining medieval part of the church. The nave and chancel were rebuilt in 1828. The church was added to the National Heritage List for England in 1954 at grade II, the lowest of three grades for listed buildings.

Bojewyan is a settlement on the Penwith Peninsula in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village lies along the B3306 road which runs along the north coast and connects St Ives to St Just. It is located between the villages of Pendeen and Morvah. The settlement once had a Wesleyan Chapel which was reopened in May 1879 after alterations and repairs.

Trevowhan is a hamlet in the parish of Morvah, Cornwall, England, UK, and lies 0.5 miles east of the village of Morvah.A terrace of a house and two cottages in the hamlet is a Grade II listed building.In 1427 dwelling houses and surrounding land there was recorded as being held by a John Trevaygnon, but it was not known which Lord he was in the service of. In 1882 there were two farms there consisting of 82.5 acres.On 10 July 1745 John Wesley visited the hamlet and preached a sermon, during which a constable read the Riot Act.Trevowhan has a bus service which is used by visitors to nearby Chun Quoit.

Great Bosullow (Cornish: Bos Chiwolow, meaning dwelling of the house of light) is a hamlet south-east of Morvah in west Cornwall, England, UK. Bosullow Common is an extensive area of heathland. Great Bosullow lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park. The freehold of Great Bosullow was put up for auction on 24 April 1883. The property consisted of a house, barn, stable, cattle-house, piggeries and other outbuildings. There were 29 acres (12 ha) of arable and pasture land, about 25 acres (10 ha) of enclosed crofts and about 62 acres (25 ha) of shared common land, including Castle Downs and any minerals beneath. Also for sale was Little Bosullow which contained 13 acres (5.3 ha) of arable and pasture lane, about 33 acres (13 ha) of enclosed croft and the rights over Bosullow and other commons, containing about 45 acres (18 ha) and the minerals thereunder. The commons including a portion of Choone Castle, where there was good quantities of good building stone.

It is covered in megaliths including Tregeseal East stone circle.A tale is told that two miners returning home one night witnessed a wrestling match near Carn Kenidjack, which was presided over by the Devil. When one of the demon wrestlers was wounded, they whispered a prayer in his ear, and the entire spectacle disappeared.

Pendeen (from Cornish: Penn Din meaning "headland fort", previously known as Cornish: Boskaswal Wartha, meaning "Caswal's high dwelling") is a village and ecclesiastical parish on the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England. It is 3 miles (5 kilometres) north-northeast of St Just and 7 mi (11 km) west of Penzance. It lies along the B3306 road which connects St Ives to Land's End and the A30 road. The village has a community centre, a shop, a post office, a primary school, and a few small businesses. Community activities include an art club, a gardening club, silver marching band and a football club. Nearby settlements include Carnyorth and Trewellard and the historic Geevor Tin Mine is immediately north of the village. The village gets its name from the headland on which Pendeen Lighthouse stands, a mile from the village. Like many other Cornish villages near the coast, Pendeen had a reputation for smuggling activities. Pendeen is overlooked by a hill, Carn Eanes, referred to locally as 'The Carn', the site of a quarry which provided the granite to build Pendeen church. Pendeen lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the St Just in Penwith division of Cornwall Council.Pendeen is close (1 km) to the South West Coast Path and in addition has a number of local footpaths for exploring the surroundings.

Higher Boscaswell is a hamlet near Pendeen in west Cornwall, England. It is east of Pendeen and on the B road from St Ives to St Just. Higher Boscaswell is included in the St Just in Penwith division on Cornwall Council.

Tregeseal East (Cornish: Meyn an Dons, meaning "Stones of the Dance"; grid reference SW386323) is a heavily restored prehistoric stone circle around one mile northeast of the town of St Just in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The nineteen granite stones are also known as The Dancing Stones. It is the one surviving circle of three that once stood aligned along an east–west axis on the hillside to the south of Carn Kenidjack.
