Nant (Bex, Switzerland)

The Dent Favre is a mountain in the Bernese Alps, located between the Dent de Morcles and the Grand Muveran. Its summit straddles the border between the Swiss cantons of Vaud and Valais.

The Pointe des Savolaires is a mountain of the western Bernese Alps, located east of Bex in the canton of Vaud. It lies on the chain north of the Dent de Morcles.

The Grand Muveran is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Vaud and Valais. At 3,051 metres, it is the highest summit of the group lying between the Rhone knee and the Pas de Cheville and the westernmost three-thousander of the Bernese Alps. The closest localities are Les Plans-sur-Bex (municipality of Bex, Vaud) and Ovronnaz (Valais). It is accompanied by the smaller peak of Petit Muveran. Overlooking the Rhone valley from a height of about 2,600 metres, the Grand Muveran is the high point of a group (referred to as the Muverans) composed of several summits approaching 3,000 metres, including to the southwest the Dent de Morcles and the Dent Favre, and to the northeast the Tête à Pierre Grept and the Haut de Cry. The Muverans are the second highest massif of the canton of Vaud, after the Diablerets, and one of the four distinct and glaciated massifs of the Bernese Alps that lie between the Rhone elbow and the Gemmi Pass. The normal route to the summit starts from the Rambert Hut (2,582 m), above Ovronnaz.

The Dent de Morcles is a 2,969 metres high mountain located at western end of the Bernese Alps, overlooking the Rhone between Martigny and St. Maurice. It is the westernmost summit of the Muverans massif, which in turn is the westernmost of the four distinct mountain massifs of the Bernese Alps that lie west of the Gemmi Pass. Its position at the end of this chain of mountains and the abrupt drop to the wide valley of the Rhone river below make the Dent de Morcles prominently visible from many points in Lausanne and other populated areas on the north and northeastern shores of Lake Geneva. The summit is sometimes distinguished by the name Grande Dent de Morcles, the Petite Dent de Morcles being a lower summit (2,929 m) on the north-west side. Both summits are located on the border between Valais and Vaud. On the northern slopes lies the small Glacier des Martinets. The Lac de Fully is located on the south side.

Javerne is an alpine pasture located in the municipality of Bex, in Switzerland. The name of the locality might be used to describe the little valley itself: "vallon de Javerne".

Lac de Fully (or Lac supérieur de Fully) is a reservoir in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. The lake's surface area is 21 ha (52 acres).

Gryon (French pronunciation: [gʁijɔ̃] (listen)) is a municipality of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, located in the district of Aigle.

L'Argentine is a mountain of the Vaud Alps, overlooking Solalex above Gryon in the canton of Vaud. The mountain is known by climbers for its Northwest face, the Miroir d'Argentine, which is smooth like a "mirror". The summit is distinguished by the name Haute Pointe and culminates at 2,421 metres above sea level.
