Tor zur Dübener Heide (German pronunciation: [ˈtoːɐ̯ tsuːɐ̯ ˈdyːbənɐ ˈhaɪdə], "Gateway to the Düben Heath") was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("administrative community") in the district of Wittenberg, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was situated southwest of Wittenberg. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Gräfenhainichen. It was disbanded in January 2011. The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Tor zur Dübener Heide consisted of the following municipalities (population in 2005 in brackets): Gräfenhainichen * (7,817) Möhlau (2,125) Schköna (810) Tornau (597) Zschornewitz (2,943)

It was situated on the right bank of the Mulde, east of Bitterfeld. It was named after the reservoir in the river Mulde in its territory. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Schlaitz. It was disbanded on 1 January 2010. Ferropolis, "the city of iron", is an open-air museum of huge mid-20th century industrial machines in Gräfenhainichen, a city between Wittenberg and Dessau, Germany. These can measure up to 30 meters high and 120 meters long, and weigh up to 1,980 tons. The area is also used for several events such as opera performances or music festivals, including the Splash! Festival, Melt! Festival, and the "Ferropolis in Flammen" ("Ferropolis in flames") festival. Also some drifting events such as Drift Masters.
