Ferropolis, "the city of iron", is an open-air museum of huge mid-20th century industrial machines in Gräfenhainichen, a city between Wittenberg and Dessau, Germany. These can measure up to 30 meters high and 120 meters long, and weigh up to 1,980 tons. The area is also used for several events such as opera performances or music festivals, including the Splash! Festival, Melt! Festival, and the "Ferropolis in Flammen" ("Ferropolis in flames") festival. Also some drifting events such as Drift Masters.

Tor zur Dübener Heide (German pronunciation: [ˈtoːɐ̯ tsuːɐ̯ ˈdyːbənɐ ˈhaɪdə], "Gateway to the Düben Heath") was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("administrative community") in the district of Wittenberg, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was situated southwest of Wittenberg. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Gräfenhainichen. It was disbanded in January 2011. Gräfenhainichen (German pronunciation: [ɡʁɛːfn̩ˈhaɪnɪçn̩] ) is a town in Wittenberg district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.

Zschornewitz (German pronunciation: [ˈtʃɔʁnəvɪts]) is a village and a former municipality on the southwestern edge of the Wittenberg district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2011, it is part of the town Gräfenhainichen. It was part of the administrative community (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft) of Tor zur Dübener Heide. It lies about 4 km west of the former district seat of Gräfenhainichen, right on the border with Saxony.

Zahna-Elster is a town in the district of Wittenberg, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was formed on 1 January 2011 by the merger of the former municipalities Zahna, Dietrichsdorf, Elster (Elbe), Gadegast, Leetza, Listerfehrda, Mühlanger, Zemnick and Zörnigall. On 29 May 2013 the incorporation of Mühlanger was reverted as a result of a decision of the Constitutional court of Saxony-Anhalt, but it was incorporated again on 1 January 2014. These former municipalities are now the 9 Ortschaften (municipal divisions) of the town Zahna-Elster.

These former municipalities are now Ortschaften (municipal divisions) of the town Oranienbaum-Wörlitz.

Möhlau (German pronunciation: [ˈmøːlaʊ]) is a village and a former municipality in Wittenberg district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2011, it is part of the town Gräfenhainichen. It was part of the administrative community (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft) of Tor zur Dübener Heide.
