The PSD Bank München which has its headquarters in Augsburg, Germany, is a regional operating direct bank for private customers, who are part of the PSD Banking Group. The bank is a member of the Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken (BVR), together with 13 other independent PSD banks. Its business area expands across Swabia, Upper Bavaria and Lower Bavaria, where the bank serves about 85,000 private customers. The PSD is among Munichs biggest cooperative banks, with total assets of over 2 billion Euro. Its legal supervision is carried out by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.

The Curt Frenzel Stadium (Curt-Frenzel-Stadion) is an arena in Augsburg, Germany. It is used for ice hockey in the German DEL as home arena for the Augsburger Panther. It holds 6,218 people. It was renamed in 1971 after Curt Frenzel, club president of the Panther, who died in 1970. Until 2013 the stadium was only covered by a roof. Not having walls, the stadium was the only in German professional ice hockey partly being an outdoor arena. Along with a complete renovation the arena was closed for the DEL season 2013/14. The renovation had begun in 2010 and was scheduled to be completed in 2012. However, after the first stand had been completed, fans discovered that they were not able to see parts of the ice. The stand had to be rebuilt, causing an estimate of 2,5 million Euro extra cost and leading to a not yet settled lawsuit against the responsible architect.

Augsburg-Oberhausen station is a station in the northwest of the central Augsburg in the suburb of Oberhausen in the German state of Bavaria. It is the second most important station in the city. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. The current station building was built south of the old Oberhauser station in 1931/32, in the New Objectivity style. There is a large tram and bus stop in front of the station building, the exterior of which has recently been renovated.

Riegele is a traditional German brewery located in Augsburg, Swabia, Bavaria. The Brauhaus Riegele was created in 1884, when Sebastian Riegele Sr. acquired the brewery "Zum Goldenen Ross", which originated in 1386. In 1911, a new building was built outside the city as well as the construction of the "Riegelehaus" on the Königsplatz. At the end of the 1980s, the Brauhaus acquired the name rights for the lactic acid-based lemonade "Chabeso". In 2015 Sierra Nevada Brewing Company partnered with Riegele on Oktoberfest.

Augsburg Hauptbahnhof is the main railway station in the Bavarian city of Augsburg, situated in southern Germany. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 2 station and has 12 platform tracks. The station has one of the oldest still existing station halls in Germany, which was built from 1843 to 1846 after plans by architect Eduard Rüber. It was reconstructed in 1869 according to Friedrich Bürklein's plans. The station today serves as the central railway hub for the Augsburg metropolitan area and Bavarian Swabia. It is currently being modernised and an underground tram station is being built under it.

The Catholic Holy Cross Church (German: Katholische Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche) is a Roman Catholic parish church in the southern German city of Augsburg, Bavaria. While its history dates back to 1143 when a hospice with a chapel was constructed on the site, the present church in the Gothic style was built by Provost Vitus Fackler in 1508. After bombing damage in the Second World War, rebuilding work was completed in 1949.Right next to this church is the Evangelical Holy Cross Church, Augsburg.

Reichsbahndirektion Augsburg (RBD Augsburg) was a Deutsche Reichsbahn railway division within the Bavarian Group Administration in southern Germany. The area covered by this division included the province of Swabia in Bavaria and extended into Upper Bavaria in the area around Augsburg. The southern section of the Ludwig South-North Railway ran through the divisional area along its entire length from (Gunzenhausen) via Donauwörth, Augsburg and Kempten (Allgäu) as far as Lindau. Important routes within the division were: (Ulm) – Augsburg – (Munich) (Treuchtlingen) – Donauwörth – Augsburg – (Munich) (Ulm) – Donauwörth – (Ingolstadt) along the Danube (Ulm) – Memmingen – Kempten (Munich) – Buchloe – Kempten – Lindau

Kulturhaus Abraxas is a cultural institution of the city of Augsburg. Here, Abraxas is a backronym for Atrium, Bühne, Restaurant, Ateliers, experimentelle Musik in Augsburg an der Sommestraße. The Reese Barracks was formerly owned by the US forces and became property of the Federal Property Administration. The city of Augsburg rented it in 1995 from the Army and used the former Offizierskasino of the Somme Barracks region as a 'Family Recreation Center', building a cultural center with a 150-seat theater, an exhibition hall, studios, music practice rooms, and a restaurant. Since January 1996, the cultural center's program has mainly featured music, especially jazz, and also theater, demonstrations, and exhibitions. Since February 1998, the Federal Association of Visual Artists has also been located in the office of Abraxas and uses the exhibition hall. The yearly Lab.30 media art festival takes place at Abraxas.

The Staatstheater Augsburg is a theatre of Augsburg, Germany. Until 1999 it was called Städtische Bühnen Augsburg, from then until the end of August 2018 it was called Theater Augsburg. It offers on four stages musical theatre, plays and ballet, with its own choir and the orchestra Augsburg Philharmonic.

Pfersee is a part of the city of Augsburg, Bavaria with some 25.000 inhabitants on the western shore of river Wertach. In 1911 Pfersee was incorporated to Augsburg. The name Pfersee probably derives from “fert” (Furt), meaning a ford (crossing). Pfersee is first mentioned in 8th century, but there also are important archeological findings such as a brazen horse-head which was part of an equestrian statue, probably dedicated to emperor Hadrian. From 1560 until 1875 in Pfersee there was a noted Jewish community with a number of renowned chairmen, rabbis and scholars, mainly from the Ulmo (Ginsburg) family, who until the beginning of the 19th century was in possession of the so-called “Pfersee manuscript”, the oldest almost complete surviving handwritten edition of the Babylonian Talmud, dated from 14th century, which now is at the Bavarian State Library in Munich. in 1627 the Jewish community of Pfersee along with the neighboring Jewish communities of Steppach and Kriegshaber established a common Jewish cemetery, today usually attributed to Kriegshaber, which became part of Augsburg in 1916 as well.

Oberhausen (Swabian: Oberhause) is one of the seventeen Planungsräume (English: Planning district, singular Planungsraum) of Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. Located in the northwestern portion of the city, it is home to 23,510 residents as of January 1, 2006, making it one of the larger planning districts in terms of population. Contained within Oberhausen are five Stadtbezirke (English: ward, singular Stadtbezirk.) The second largest river in Augsburg, the Wertach, flows through Oberhausen.
