Nippori Station (日暮里駅, Nippori-eki) is a major railway interchange station in Arakawa, Tokyo, Japan.

Tennō-ji (天王寺) was a Tendai Buddhist temple of Japan, located in Yanaka, Taitō, Tokyo. The temple was erected by Nichigen (日源) in 1274.

The Yanaka five-storied pagoda double-suicide arson case (谷中五重塔放火心中事件, Yanaka Gojūnotō Hōka Shinjū Jiken) was a dramatic case of arson in 1957 of a five-storied wooden pagoda in Yanaka Cemetery, Taitō, Tokyo. The pagoda was set on fire by two lovers who committed suicide together – their bodies were found in the remains of the structure.

Yanaka Cemetery (谷中霊園, Yanaka Reien) is a large cemetery located north of Ueno in Yanaka 7-chome, Taito, Tokyo, Japan. The Yanaka sector of Taito is one of the few Tokyo neighborhoods in which the old Shitamachi atmosphere can still be felt. The cemetery is famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms that in April completely cover its paths, and for that reason that its central street is often called Cherry-blossom Avenue.

Zenshō-an (全生庵) is a Buddhist Rinzai Zen temple, located in Taitō, Tokyo, Japan.It has a large collection of Japanese yūrei paintings, which are normally exhibited in August, the traditional month of spirits and ghosts. These paintings were most probably kept by families during the Edo period also to ward off evil. The temple has long been popular with influential Japanese figures, including Prime Ministers Shinzo Abe and Nakasone Yasuhiro.A large exhibition was shown the summer of 2015 in cooperation with the Tokyo University of the Arts.

The Kaisei Academy (開成学園) is a preparatory private secondary school for boys located in the Arakawa ward of Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 1871. The Kaisei Academy has since educated notable figures across many different fields and is considered one of the most prestigious schools in the country. As of 2021, the school has had the most number of entrants to the University of Tokyo, which is regarded as the best university in Japan.

Yanaka (谷中) is a sector of Taito, Tokyo, Japan and, along with nearby Nezu and Sendagi neighborhoods in Bunkyo ward, is one of the few Tokyo neighborhoods in which the old Shitamachi atmosphere can still be felt. Located north of Ueno, Yanaka includes the large Yanaka Cemetery, which takes up most of Yanaka 7-chome. The Daimyo Clock Museum is also in Yanaka. There are around 70 privately owned small stores in Yanaka

Shim-Mikawashima Station (新三河島駅, Shin-Mikawashima-eki) is a railway station on the Keisei Main Line in Arakawa, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Keisei Electric Railway.
