Forestville station is a former train station located off 171 Central Street in the Forestville village of Bristol, Connecticut. It was built in 1881 by the New York and New England Railroad, and was a key element of the prosperity of the village, benefiting from many daily passenger rail stops. Service to the area ended in 1960. The station, now repurposed to other uses, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 19, 1978 as Forestville Passenger Station.

The Congregational Church of Plainville is a historic church building at 130 West Main Street in Plainville, Connecticut. Built in 1850, it is one Connecticut architect Henry Austin's significant church designs, exhibiting a mix of Carpenter Gothic and Romanesque features. It was built for a congregation formally organized in 1839 that is now affiliated with the United Church of Christ. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local reliever airport facility.It is primarily used for general aviation, charter flights, and flight training.

The Charles H. Norton House, also known as Sharpenhoe, is a historic house at 132 Redstone Hill in Plainville, Connecticut. Built in 1922, this brick Georgian Revival house was the home of inventor and machinist Charles Hotchkiss Norton (1851–1942), a Plainville native, from 1922 until his death. The house was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976 for its association with Norton, who designed heavy-duty precision grinding machines important for development of the automobile industry.

The Shade Swamp Shelter is a historic rustic shelter on the north side United States Route 6, just east of New Britain Avenue in Farmington, Connecticut. Built in 1934 by a crew of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), it is one of the state's finest examples of the CCC's Rustic architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The CSB Media Arts Center was originally founded as Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 1964 by Dick Robinson as a small, private school in Connecticut. Known now as the CSB Media Arts Center, it is the largest group of Digital Media Arts Schools (Broadcast Media School, Code School, Social Media Marketing School, and Film Schools) that trains students for careers in emerging technologies. The Web Developer Program prepares students for entry-level work as a Jr. Web Developer. Learn to code. The full stack course is taught by industry professionals, and the curriculum was chosen specifically to suit the needs of the local job market. Students learn to understand coding logic using PHP and JavaScript, web design using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap ,and relational databases using SQL. The Social Media Marketing Specialist Program teaches students how to use social media as a tool to increase brand awareness, obtain leads, and increase sales. The Digital Filmmaking Program trains students how to write, shoot, direct, and edit their own short, character-driven comedy, drama, or horror short films. Students can also have the option of creating a television pilot. Students will shoot on HD cameras, learn industry standard lighting techniques, and edit on Adobe Premiere Pro. Students train in small group classes and are taught by industry professionals. The training program has four main components: screen-writing, pre-production, production, and post-production. The CSB Media Arts Center has five campuses in CT, NJ, NC, and FL of the United States. Not all campuses offer the same programs.

The Terry-Hayden House is a historic house on Middle Street in Bristol, Connecticut. Built in 1835 and enlarged in 1884, it is a well-preserved example of a Greek Revival house with a four-column temple portico. Now part of a professional office complex called Terry Commons, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
