St Andrew's is the Church of England church for Totteridge in north London. It is located in the Diocese of St Albans, one of the few churches in Greater London to have this distinction.

Totteridge is a former village (historically in Hertfordshire), now a residential area in the London Borough of Barnet, England. It is a mixture of suburban development and open land (including some farmland) situated 8 miles (13 km) north north-west of Charing Cross. It is part of the Whetstone postal district (N20). It gives its name to a ward in the borough and to the St Andrew, Totteridge ecclesiastical parish of the Diocese of St Albans.

Poynter's Grove, sometimes known as Pointers Grove or Poynters Hall, was a house that once existed in Totteridge, north London. The house was originally in the ownership of Sir Richard Gurney, a royalist in the English Civil War and Lord Mayor of London, who died in the Tower of London in 1647.The house then had a succession of largely aristocratic owners before entering the ownership of the Puget Family. By the late nineteenth century, the house was owned by Colonel John Hey Puget of the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars. It was sold around the time of his death in 1894 and had several other owners before being demolished around 1925. In 1876, Lewis Gordon died here. It was also the birthplace of the publisher Cecil Harmsworth King in 1901, whose grandmother, Geraldine Maffett Harmsworth, was the then-owner of the house.

Totteridge Green is a five hectare Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade II, in Totteridge in the London Borough of Barnet. It is also registered common land.The nature reserve is the land on both sides of the road, Totteridge Green. A typical English village green, it comprises open grassland, small pockets of scrubby woodland and a pond.Much of the grassland is dominated by perennial rye-grass, with a good diversity of common wild flowers, and there are also areas of dry acid grassland. Several damp hollows, probably former ponds, contain tussocky grassland with uncommon wild flowers such as great burnet, bog stitchwort and common marsh-bedstraw. A map of the 1840s shows fourteen ponds, but only Laurel Farm Pond survives. This is frequented by large numbers of geese and mallards. Trees include pedunculate oak, beech and horse chestnut.The site includes a short footpath through woods to Coppice Walk, and there is also access from Totteridge Village and Laurel Way. A footpath which starts next to Laurel Farm Pond goes through Folly Brook Valley to Woodside Park.

The Croft is a large detached house on Totteridge Green in Totteridge, Barnet. It has been Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England since November 1974.The house was designed by the English architect T.E. Collcutt as his personal residence. It was subsequently profiled in an 1899 issue of The Builder. The formal gardens of The Croft originally contained a sculpture of Triton by Henry Pegram. Collcutt also built another Grade II listed house on Totteridge Green, Fairspeir, and The Lynch House on Totteridge Common. Bridget Cherry, writing in the 1998 London: North edition of the Pevsner Architectural Guides, described The Croft as 'very picturesque' and 'a more relaxed version' of Richard Norman Shaw's 'Old English style'. The interior was described as having 'pretty plasterwork' and tiles by William De Morgan. The 1977 edition of the Pevsner guides had described the Croft's design as "three ranges and a court, roughcast, with Tudor windows" likening it to the domestic architecture of C. F. A. Voysey.

Darland's Lake Nature Reserve is a nature reserve south of Totteridge Village in Barnet, England. It is owned by the London Borough of Barnet and was managed from 1971 by the Hertfordshire and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, and more recently by the borough council. In 2007 the council spent £215,000 on repairing the dam and other works, and then proposed leasing the reserve to the Wildlife Trust. The transfer did not take place and in September 2017 a trust was set up by the London Wildlife Trust and local residents associations which took over the management of Darland's Lake. In 2020 Darlands Conservation Trust launched an appeal to raise £450,000 for excavation to prevent the lake drying up. The site was once part of Copped Hall, an estate dating from the sixteenth century. From 1780 it was occupied by William Manning MP, and his son Cardinal Manning was born there. Darland's Lake was created as an ornamental lake by damming Folly Brook, probably planned by William Manning's wife, Mary, with advice from Humphry Repton.The lake is very shallow, with extensive reed beds, and the reserve also includes woodland. It has a diverse range of breeding birds and eighteen species of mammal have been recorded, including stoat and weasel. It is also of value for grass snakes, amphibians, fungi and invertebrates.Folly Brook and Darland's Lake Nature Reserve are together designated a Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade 1. Darland's Lake was formerly a Site of Special Scientific Interest, but the designation was withdrawn when it was discovered that the rarest plants had been introduced. According to the London Ecology Unit's Nature Conservation in Barnet, published in 1997, Darland's Lake was one of seven sites identified by Barnet Council as meeting the criteria for designation as a Local Nature Reserve, and it is the only one of the seven which the Council has not designated. There is access is by a path from The Close, Totteridge Village, and by a footpath from Southover which follows Folly Brook to the lake.

The Totteridge Academy is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Barnet, North London, England.

Woodridge Nature Reserve or Woodridge School Nature Reserve is a 0.7 hectare Site of Local Importance for Nature Conservation in Woodside Park, London, owned and managed by the London Borough of Barnet. It was designed as a nature trail for local primary schools, but is now very neglected. It lies predominantly on London clay, and comprises oak woodland and grassland. It was originally farmed as pasture, and is a haven for wildlife such as woodland birds, insects and amphibians.The reserve is close to Folly Brook in Folly Brook Valley, a large area of woods and grassland which is public open space between Woodside Park and Totteridge. Access is by a kissing gate in a pasture area close to the Michleham Down entrance to the Valley.

Chipping Barnet is a constituency created in 1974 represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2005 by Theresa Villiers of the Conservative Party. Villiers was the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2012 until 2016 under the leadership of Prime Minister David Cameron before she was dismissed when the incoming Prime Minister Theresa May took office. Boris Johnson appointed her as Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in July 2019 before she was sacked in February 2020. It is part of the London Borough of Barnet.

King George V Playing Fields is an area of playing fields of approximately 14 acres in Totteridge in the London Borough of Barnet. It is located south east of the junction of Barnet Lane and Dollis Brook. Following the death of King George V in 1936 the King George's Fields Foundation was established to give grants for the establishment of playing fields, the work of the foundation is now undertaken by charity Fields in Trust. The Totteridge fields were originally the third largest of all King George's Fields at 93 acres, and the Foundation gave a grant of £3,000 towards the total capital cost of £62,335. King George V Playing Fields, Totteridge have been legally protected since July 1943. The rules of the Foundation required permanent preservation of the area as a King George's Field as a memorial to the king, but less than a fifth of the original size remains. The Master Atlas of Greater London shows King George's Fields extending west across Barnet Lane into what is now a farmer's field, and there used to be two 'King George's Fields' logos on stone plinths in the entrance to the field, but in 2012 the plinths were vandalised and the logos removed. North of the current King George's Fields is an area of public open space called Barnet Playing Fields, an area of 72 acres laid out in 1926. It is unclear whether this was ever part of King George's Fields.

Chipping Barnet or High Barnet is a suburban market town in north London, forming part of the London Borough of Barnet, England. It is a suburban development built around a 12th-century settlement, and is located 10+1⁄2 miles (17 km) north-northwest of Charing Cross, 3 miles (4.8 km) east from Borehamwood, 5.2 miles (8.4 km) west from Enfield and 3.2 miles (5.1 km) south from Potters Bar. Its population, including its localities East Barnet, New Barnet, Hadley Wood, Monken Hadley, Cockfosters and Arkley, was 47,359 as of 2011. Its name is very often abbreviated to just Barnet, which is also the name of the borough of which it forms a part; the town has been part of Greater London since 1965 after the abolition of Barnet Urban District in Hertfordshire. Chipping Barnet is also the name of the Parliamentary constituency covering the local area – the word "Chipping" denotes the presence of a market, one that was established here at the end of the 12th century and persists to this day. Chipping Barnet is one of the highest urban settlements in London, with the town centre having an elevation of about 427 feet (130 m).
