Woodlands Waterfront Park

Woodlands Naval Base was a military base of the Royal Malaysian Navy in Woodlands, Singapore. It is on the opposite side of the Singapore Strait from Johor Bahru. This base served as the first headquarters of the Royal Navy Malay Section (then name of the Royal Malaysian Navy) from 1952 until 9 September 1984, when the headquarters relocated to Lumut, Perak.This base was part of Singapore Naval Base and was called Singapore Naval Base - Woodlands Side. After the British Government transferred the Royal Malayan Navy (then name of the Royal Malaysian Navy) to the Federation of Malaya on 1 July 1958, almost a year after the Federation of Malaya gained independence from the British, the Singapore Naval Base was divided in half, with the Woodlands side being given to the Federation of Malaya and the Sembawang side remaining under the British and Commonwealth's military.

Admiralty Park is a national park in Singapore that is 27 hectares in size It is made unique by its river valley shaped hilly terrain.

Woodlands North MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Woodlands, Singapore. The station is the northern terminus of the Thomson–East Coast line (TEL). It is located at the centre of Woodlands North at Woodlands North Coast Road, off Admiralty Road West, and is adjacent to Republic Polytechnic (RP). The station is envisioned to serve the Woodlands North Coast project, a mixed-use business and lifestyle precinct in the far north of the country designed by Arup and built by JTC.The station was one of the first three TEL stations to be opened on 31 January 2020 as part of Stage 1. During its construction, plans were made for the station to be linked with the Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS, which was confirmed in 2012. Construction began in 2021, and it will be the Singapore terminus of the RTS when it is completed by 2026.

View Road Hospital was located at View Road, off Admiralty Road West, in Woodlands, Singapore. It was used to as a branch of Woodbridge Hospital (now the Institute of Mental Health) used for occupational therapy for long term schizophrenia patients and was closed in 2001. The has been used on two occasions as a foreign workers dormitory known as View Road Lodge on two occasions from 2008 to 2017. It is now unoccupied.

Sri Siva Krishna Temple (Tamil: ஸ்ரீ சிவா கிருஷ்ணா கோவில்) is a temple for the god Vishnu and Shiva who is the presiding deity. The temple also has many other deities.

Woodlands Train Checkpoint (abbreviated as WTCP, also known as Woodlands CIQ) is a railway station and border checkpoint in Woodlands, Singapore. Located close to the Malaysia–Singapore border, the station is owned by Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and is operated by the Malaysian railway operator Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) in agreement with the Singaporean authorities. Constructed from 1992 to 1997, Woodlands Train Checkpoint was opened on 1 August 1998 as the Singapore border control facility for rail passengers. At that time there were no boarding facilities, as northbound passengers heading towards Malaysia were required to clear Malaysia's customs and immigration at Tanjong Pagar railway station, and northbound trains stopped at Woodlands Train Checkpoint for Singapore exit immigration checks only. However, southbound passengers could disembark after clearing Singapore's customs and immigration at Woodlands Train Checkpoint, as they had already cleared Malaysian Immigration at Johor Bahru railway station. Since 1 July 2011, Woodlands Train Checkpoint has been the southern terminus of the KTM Intercity service. This followed an agreement between Malaysia and Singapore to permanently close Tanjong Pagar railway station. Today, Northbound passengers clear both Singapore's and Malaysia's customs and immigration at Woodlands Train Checkpoint before boarding the train for Malaysia, while southbound passengers clear Malaysian Immigration at Johor Bahru Sentral railway station and Singapore customs and immigration at Woodlands Train Checkpoint. Recreational passengers can travel by rail from Portugal to Singapore, a journey of 18,755 km (11,654 miles) and 21 days through Paris, Moscow, Beijing and Bangkok in what is purported to be the longest rail journey in the world. The planned Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System is expected to replace shuttle train services to Woodlands Train Checkpoint by 2026, possibly leading to the station's closure.

Marsiling Secondary School (MSS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Marsiling, Singapore. It was founded in January 2000. MSS is located along Marsiling Road, Singapore, having been temporarily housed at the premises of Woodgrove Secondary School from 2000 to late 2001, due to prolonged delays in construction of the Marsiling campus when the company handling the construction failed in mid-2000.

Segget River (Malay: Sungai Segget, Chinese: 纱玉河) is a river in Johor, Malaysia. The length of the river is about 4,280 meters. It starts from the current Johor Bahru Chinese Cemetery, through the downtown of Johor Bahru city, and ends at Straits of Johor.The Segget River flows through the east bank and the west bank of the river. There is a small shaped triangle island called Segget Island. There is a wet market on the island. The West Bank of Segget River was mostly settled by Teochew. The road by the river is called Jalan Trus, most of the business around that area is owned by Teochew Chinese, and Johor Bahru Old Chinese temple is also located here. The roads adjoining with Jalan Trus are Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, Jalan Ibrahim and Jalan Dhoby. The East bank of the Segget river was mostly settled by Cantonese immigrants. The Stulang Steam Sawmill owned by Lim Ah Siang located near to Jalan Meldrum, and Jalan Sawmill in the downtown of Johor Bahru is named after this sawmill. Wong Ah Fook owned big pieces of land on the east bank of the river, and Jalan Wong Ah Fook is named after him. Jalan Siu Chin, Jalan Siu Koon and Jalan Siu Nam are the roads named after Wong Ah Fook's son. Johor Bahru Sentral railway station is also located on the east bank of the river, the Jalan Stesen is named after the railway station.

Riverside Secondary School (RSS) is a co-educational government secondary school located in Woodlands, Singapore. Students of the school are referred to as "Riversidians".

The Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum (Malay: Muzium Warisan Tionghua Johor Bahru) is a museum in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The museum is about the history of Chinese community in Johor Bahru.

Foon Yew High School (Chinese: 宽柔中学, Malay: Sekolah Menengah Foon Yew) is the largest Chinese independent high school in Malaysia. The school has three campuses: first in Stulang Laut, second in Kulai, and recent third in Masai. Foon Yew High School has two semesters each year. An academic year begins in January and finishes at the end of November, with a near two-week holiday in June.

Stulang (Jawi: ستولڠ; Chinese: 士都兰) is a suburb in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. It is divided by two main roads, which are Jalan Stulang Darat and Jalan Stulang Laut. Previously it was a small fishing village facing toward Johor Straits. Nowadays it is full of low cost flats (housing), and a large private Chinese school (Foon Yew High School) is located here.Zheng Ann Old Temple is a more than eighty years old temple in the area. The royal place of Johor Sultan, Pasir Pelangi, is also located here.
