Wandsworth Road railway station

St Paul's Church is a Church of England parish church in Clapham, London. There has been a church on the site since the 12th century. The current building was completed in 1815 and is Grade II* listed. In the grounds, which hold the Green Flag Award, are some fine tombs including many early 19th century sarcophagi and a community garden, Eden. The incumbent is Revd Canon Jonathan Boardman.

575 Wandsworth Road, London, was the home of Kenyan poet and civil servant Khadambi Asalache until his death in 2006. Following his death he left it to the National Trust, which opened the house as a museum for pre-booked guided tours.

The A3036 is an A road in London, England. It starts at the southern tip of the County Hall roundabout (51.5003°N 0.1168°W / 51.5003; -0.1168 (A3036 road (northeastern end))), where the A302 Westminster Bridge, York Road and A23 Westminster Bridge Road all intersect. This stretch of the route is called Lambeth Palace Road and heads southwest, past St Thomas' Hospital and the Palace itself, at the roundabout junction with the A3203 at Lambeth Bridge, where it runs along the south side of the Thames. After this, the road is called Albert Embankment and continues to run alongside the river, until it passes the MI6 headquarters at the major junction known as Vauxhall Cross, where the A202 Vauxhall Bridge, Durham Street and Harleyford Road, the A203 South Lambeth Road, and the A3205 Nine Elms Lane all converge. From Vauxhall, the route is then called Wandsworth Road until it crosses the A3216 Queenstown Road / Cedars Road junction in Battersea. At that point the street name changes to Lavender Hill, continuing until Clapham Junction. The A3 follows roughly the same southwesterly course as this route and after St John's Hill, Clapham Junction, the two routes merge at the Wandsworth one-way system (51.4596°N 0.1799°W / 51.4596; -0.1799 (A3036 road (southwestern end))), where the road continues as the A3.

The Bobbin is a pub at 1–3 Lillieshall Road, Clapham, London SW4. It is a Grade II listed building, originally The Tim Bobbin, dating back to the late 19th century.

Longhedge railway works was a locomotive and carriage works built by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway in the borough of Battersea, South London to serve their new London terminus at Victoria. The facility existed between 1862 until the mid-1950s.

The Patmore Estate is a housing estate in Battersea within the London Borough of Wandsworth in London, England. The 28 red-brick apartment buildings were erected in the 1950s.

Stewarts Lane is a large railway-servicing facility in Battersea in London, England, founded by the London Chatham and Dover Railway (LCDR) in 1862, to serve London Victoria railway station. It is sited in the midst of a maze of railway lines between 'Factory Junction' and 'Stewarts Lane Junction', adjacent to the site of the former Longhedge Railway Works and the Stewarts Lane Chord formerly used by Eurostar trains from the Kent freight lines to Waterloo International station. Prior to 1962 it was one of the largest motive power depots in the UK. Following the end of steam traction in the early 1960s it was converted into a traction maintenance depot which is currently operated by Govia Thameslink Railway.

Clapham Town is an administrative division of the London Borough of Lambeth, England. The ward contains much of Clapham including part of Clapham Common and Clapham Common Underground station. As of the 2011 census the population was 13,795.The ward is located in the Vauxhall parliamentary constituency.

Ramport Studios was a recording studio on Thessaly Road, Battersea, south London, owned by the Who. The studio was built in an old church hall. Several major albums were recorded at Ramport, including 1974's Crime of the Century by Supertramp and 1976's Jailbreak by Thin Lizzy. Judas Priest also recorded their album Sin After Sin there during 1976–1977. The Who's 1973 album Quadrophenia was recorded there. Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers spent much of the summer of 1977 recording and mixing the album L.A.M.F. there for the Who's label Track Records. Joan Jett recorded several tracks there which would end up on her Joan Jett album, later retitled Bad Reputation. Neil Young, together with Robbie Robertson, recorded the song "White Line" there in 1974; this was released on the album Homegrown in 2020.Virgin Studios Ltd. acquired the studio in 1994 and renamed it Town House Three. It is now used as a doctor's surgery.

Clapham High Street railway station is on the South London Line in Clapham, within the London Borough of Lambeth, Greater London. It is 6 miles 21 chains (10.1 km) measured from London Bridge (the former LC&DR platforms also being 2 miles 25 chains (3.7 km) measured from London Victoria). It is served by London Overground services, with a limited service to Battersea Park under the control of the London Rail division of Transport for London, and a daily Southeastern service to Ashford International once a day. It is close to Clapham North tube station, and interchange between the two is counted as an Out of Station Interchange on Oyster, so that users are charged for only one journey, rather than two separate journeys.

Larkhall is a ward in the London Borough of Lambeth, represented locally by Labour councillors Andy Wilson, Tina Valcarcel and Tim Windle. Prior to her entry to Parliament, it was represented by Marsha de Cordova MP. It is one of eight wards in the Vauxhall constituency represented at national level by Florence Eshalomi MP.

Stewarts Lane was the name of two separate railway stations. The first station, opened by the West End of London and Crystal Palace Railway, was originally located between what is now Clapham Junction and Pimlico. It was opened on 29 May 1858 and closed on 1 December 1858.The second station was later used by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway and located between Victoria and Wandsworth Road. This station was opened on 1 May 1863 and closed on 1 January 1867. It was located south of the previous station.
