Georgia is a town in Franklin County, Vermont, United States. The population was 4,845 at the 2020 census.

The District No. 8 School, also known locally as the Brick School, is a historic school building on United States Route 7 in Georgia, Vermont. Built in 1891, it was one of the last district schools to be built in the state, which mandated town control over schools the following year. It now houses the collection of the Georgia Historical Society and is known as the Brick Schoolhouse Museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Solomon Goodrich Homestead is a historic house at 4787 Ethan Allen Highway (United States Route 7) in Georgia, Vermont. With its oldest section dating to the late 1780s, it is one of the community's oldest surviving buildings. Its later and more prominent brick front is a good early example of Federal period architecture. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Kemp-Shepard House is a historic house on Highbridge Road (Vermont Route 104A) in Georgia, Vermont. The main block of the brick house, built about 1830, is an important early work of a regional master builder, and it is attached to an older wood-frame ell. It was built on land that was among the first to be settled in the eastern part of the town. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Built in 1843 and enlarged in 1931, it is a good local example of mid-19th century vernacular Greek Revival school architecture. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Franklin-1 District had a population of 8,140 in that same census, 0.27% above the state average.

It was built as a replacement for a 1902 Pennsylvania truss bridge, which was relocated to the site of the Swanton Covered Railroad Bridge, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
