The Chittenden-9 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Chittenden-9 District consists of the part of Chittenden County town of Milton not included in Grand Isle-Chittenden-1-1 As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Chittenden-9 District had a population of 8,183 in that same census, 0.8% above the state average.

Milton is a town in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 10,723. According to local legend, the town was named for the English poet John Milton, but the name most likely originated from William FitzWilliam, 4th Earl FitzWilliam, who held the title Viscount Milton and was a supporter of independence for the colonies during the American Revolution.Milton has a municipal building, school system, library, police force, fire department, rescue squad, several churches, as well as civic and social organizations.

Niquette Bay State Park is a 584 acres (2.36 km2) state park in Colchester, Vermont, on the shore of Lake Champlain. The day-use park is located just off Route 2, about 4 miles (6.4 km) from Sand Bar State Park in Milton, Vermont. Activities includes swimming, fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, and winter sports.There is a swimming beach and hiking trails through the forested area and down to the beach.

The District No. 8 School, also known locally as the Brick School, is a historic school building on United States Route 7 in Georgia, Vermont. Built in 1891, it was one of the last district schools to be built in the state, which mandated town control over schools the following year. The Solomon Goodrich Homestead is a historic house at 4787 Ethan Allen Highway (United States Route 7) in Georgia, Vermont. With its oldest section dating to the late 1780s, it is one of the community's oldest surviving buildings. Its later and more prominent brick front is a good early example of Federal period architecture. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Chittenden-7-1 District had a population of 8,903 in that same census, 9.67% above the state average.

The Chittenden-6-3 Representative District is a one-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Chittenden-6-3 District includes all of the Chittenden County town of Westford and part of the town of Essex defined as follows: that portion of the Town of Essex bounded by the centerline of the road from Curve Hill at the Colchester Town line, then to Lost Nation Road, then northerly on Old Stage Road to Towers Road, then continuing easterly to Brown's River Road to Weed Road, then easterly on Jericho Road to the Jericho town line. The rest of Essex is in Chittenden-6-1 and Chittenden-6-2. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Chittenden-6-2 District had a population of 4,264 in that same census, 5.05% above the state average.
