Sant Vicenç de Calders is a railway station owned by Adif located in the municipality of Vendrell in the region of Baix Penedès, in the neighborhood of l'Estació in Sant Vicenç de Calders. The station is located at the junction of the lines from Barcelona-Vilafranca-Tarragona and Barcelona-Vilanova-Valls, where trains from the Barcelona suburban lines R2 and R4, the RT2 line and the regional lines R13, R14, R15, R16, and R17 of Rodalies de Catalunya, as well as Medium Distance lines, all operated by Renfe Operadora, circulate.

Sant Vicenç de Calders is a village in the El Vendrell municipality, in the Baix Penedès comarca, Province of Tarragona, Spain. The village was an independent municipality until the 1940s, and is 3.4 km (2.1 mi) SE of El Vendrell. It has a population of just over one hundred. The village is located on a 100-metre-high (330 ft) hill, with a small nucleus of 18th-century houses around the main square and near the church of St Vincent, which is documented since the 11th century and was rebuilt in the 18th century. The location of the village gives good views over Comarruga.

Baix Penedès (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈbaʃ pənəˈðɛs]) is a comarca in the Penedès region, in Catalonia, Spain. The area has been settled since the times of the Iberians, with ancient ruins remaining in Banyeres at Can Canyís, at the village of Guàrdies and in Calafell at the villages of Toixoneres and la Ciutadella ("The Citadel"). The capital is El Vendrell.

It is wedged between the Mediterranean and the coastal range. El Vendrell is the capital of the Baix Penedès comarca and a tourist spot, with the beaches of Comarruga, Sant Salvador and El Vendrell. It is the source of the Catalan family name "Vendrell".

C-31 or Eix Costaner is one of Catalonia's primary highways. It is the result of merging several sections of previously existing roads, autopistas and autovías after the 2004's renaming of primary highways managed by the Generalitat de Catalunya. According to this new denomination, the first number (C-31) indicates that is a southwest-northeast highway (parallel to the Mediterranean Sea coastline), while the second number (C-31) indicates that is the closest to the Mediterranean Sea.

The Arc de Berà (sometimes written Barà) is a triumphal arch some 20 km north-east of the city of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, close to Roda de Berà. This monument is part of the Archaeological Ensemble of Tarraco, which was added to the UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 2000. It stands on the line of what was the Via Augusta, now the N-340 road. Its name derives from the count Berà. It is a triumphal arch with a single opening consisting of a central body on a podium, decorated with fluted pilasters crowned by Corinthian capitals. The upper part of the construction is an entablature made up of architrave, frieze and cornice. The stone used is probably from a local quarry. The monument was built as a result of the will of Lucius Licinius Sura and it was erected in the reign of Augustus, around 13 BCE. The surviving inscription reads: “Ex testamento L(uci) Licini L(uci) f(ilii) Serg (ia tribu) Surae consa[...]”. It is thought it was dedicated to Augustus or to his genius, and that it marked the limit of the district of Tarraco.

Bonastre is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Penedès in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the west of the comarca in the Quadrell range. Bonastre became part of the Baix Penedès in the comarcal revision of 1990: previously it formed part of the Tarragonès. In 1178, Bernat de Papiol, who was lord of the place, donated it to the Monastery of St Cugat. In 1382, King Pedro IV took possession of Bonastre for the crown although the monastery continued to govern the village until the 17th century. During the Trienio Liberal Bonastre supported the royalists. In 1822, the town was attacked by a party of militia and was left deserted as its inhabitants fled to the surrounding mountains. However, the militia were attacked by royalist troops when they left Bonastre and routed. The 19th-century parish church is dedicated to St Magdalene. It was built on the site of an ancient Romanesque temple which was destroyed in 1849. It consists of a single building covered by a cylindrical vault, with small interconnecting chapels at the side. The baptistry and sanctuary stand out. It was the work of a modernistic architect Josep Maria Jujol. Another notable building is a 19th-century house known as “can Fontanilles”. It has some interesting graphics on its façade, which include the arms of Bonastre and Catalonia The main festival at Bonastre takes place in July under the feast of St Magdalena. A local road links the village with Roda de Barà.
