Highland Village/Lewisville Lake station is an A-train commuter rail station in Highland Village, Texas. It is east of Interstate 35E at Garden Ridge Boulevard, and serves commuters from Highland Village and the Lewisville Lake recreational area.

Lewisville ( LOO-iss-vil) is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, predominantly within Denton County with a small part lying within Dallas County. As a suburban community within the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, the 2020 census tabulated a population of 111,822.Originally called Holford's Prairie, Lewisville dates back to the early 1840s. The arrival of the town's first railroad in 1881 engendered its initial growth, and the expansion of the area's transportation infrastructure spurred further development in the early part of the 20th century. Lewisville incorporated in 1925, and when construction of Lewisville Lake was completed in the 1950s, the city began to expand rapidly. Lewisville's proximity to Lewisville Lake has made it a recreational hub of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The area's transportation infrastructure has evolved around the I-35 Corridor along Interstate 35E. The diversity of its population and industry has created a stable economic climate. Lewisville Independent School District provides most of the area's public education programs.

Charles Emery Old Town Station (typically shortened to Old Town) is an A-train commuter rail station in Lewisville, Texas. The station is named for Old Town Lewisville, the city's historic downtown district, which it is 1⁄2 mile east of. The station was previously one of two terminals for bus route 22, the other being Hebron station. When the route was removed in 2021, the station became a hub for DCTA's on-demand GoZone service. In 2019, the station was formally renamed in honor of Charles Emery, a former chairman of DCTA and member of the Lewisville City Council. A placard commemorating him and his wife, Elaine, was installed at the station.

Edward S. Marcus High School is a public high school in Flower Mound, Texas. It is a part of the Lewisville Independent School District.

Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, or LLELA, is a 2,600-acre park in Lewisville, Texas. It features Blackland Prairie and Eastern Cross Timbers ecosystems, as well as wetlands and hardwood forests. The Elm Fork branch of the Trinity River runs through the park, and it is adjacent to Lake Lewisville, although there is no lake access from the park.

Hickory Creek is a town in Denton County, Texas, United States, located 30 miles (48 km) north of downtown Dallas. The population of Hickory Creek has grown from 219 at its incorporation in 1963 to 3,247 at the 2010 census. It is also one of the four communities in the Lake Cities.Hickory Creek was recognized by Tree City USA in August 2008.

Highland Village is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. It is a suburb of Dallas and Fort Worth, located on the south side of the far western branch of Lewisville Lake. As of the 2020 United States census the city's population was 15,899.

Lewisville Lake, formerly known as Garza-Little Elm Reservoir, is a reservoir in North Texas (USA) on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River in Denton County near Lewisville. Originally engineered in 1927 as Lake Dallas, the reservoir was expanded in the 1940s and 1950s and renamed Lewisville Lake. It was built for flood control purposes and to serve as a water source for Dallas and its suburbs, but residents also use it for recreational purposes.

Responsive Education Solutions, Inc. (Responsive Ed) is a non-profit charter management organization headquartered in Lewisville, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Responsive Ed was established in 1998. In 2015, Responsive Ed schools had enrolled 9,208 students.: 90 

Coram Deo Academy (CDA) is a private Christian school for grades Pre-K to 12. CDA has three North Texas campuses located in Collin County, Dallas, and Flower Mound. It is a member of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools.

Flower Mound is an incorporated town located in Denton and Tarrant counties in the U.S. state of Texas. Located northwest of Dallas and northeast of Fort Worth adjacent to Grapevine Lake, the town derives its name from a prominent 12.5-acre (5.1 ha) mound located in the center of town. After settlers used the site for religious camps during the 1840s, the area around Flower Mound was first permanently inhabited in the 1850s; however, residents did not incorporate until 1961. Although an effort to create a planned community failed in the early 1970s, Flower Mound's population increased substantially when Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport opened to the south in 1974. As of the 2020 United States census, the population was 75,956, reflecting a 17% increase over the 64,669 counted in the 2010 census. Of the Texas municipalities that label themselves "towns", Flower Mound has the largest population. Flower Mound was the only town with a population greater than 20,000 in the 2020 census. Flower Mound's municipal government, operating under a council–manager system, has invested in a public park system highlighted by an extensive network of trails. Lewisville Independent School District, which operates public schools, covers the majority of Flower Mound. With its moderately affluent population and proximity to the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Flower Mound has used a smart growth system for urban planning, and has recently experienced more rapid light industrial growth to match the growing needs of the primarily residential community.

Lake Dallas is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. It is located in North Texas, northwest of the city of Dallas, on the shores of Lewisville Lake. The community's name derives from the original name of the lake. It is also one of the four communities in the Lake Cities.
