Flower Mound High School (FMHS) is part of Lewisville Independent School District and is located in Flower Mound, Texas, United States. The school rests on 52 acres (21 ha) of land that was purchased in 1993. FMHS was the second high school built in Flower Mound, after Edward S. Marcus High School. With the expansion of the town in the 1980s and 1990s, a second high school was built to accommodate the growth. FMHS has been called one of the top 10 best public high schools in the Dallas area and had received an "Exemplary" (highest) rating from the Texas Education Agency. The school's fight song is the Michigan Wolverines' fight song, "The Victors".

Highland Village is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. It is a suburb of Dallas and Fort Worth, located on the south side of the far western branch of Lewisville Lake. As of the 2020 United States census the city's population was 15,899.

Grapevine Lake is a reservoir located in the North Texas region, about 20 mi (32 km) northwest of Dallas and northeast of Fort Worth. It was impounded in 1952 by the US Army Corps of Engineers when they dammed Denton Creek, a tributary of Trinity River. The reservoir's primary purposes are flood control and to act as a municipal water reservoir, with a secondary function of providing recreation and open-space areas. The lake's name comes from the city of Grapevine, Texas, to which the lake is adjacent.

Lantana is an upscale census-designated place (CDP) and master-planned community originally developed by Republic Property Group, 8 miles (13 km) south of Denton in unincorporated Denton County, Texas, United States. The population of the CDP at the 2010 census was 6,874. Lantana had 3,274 occupied homes as of December 31, 2015, with an estimated population of 10,641. Lantana shares the 76226 ZIP code of Argyle. Approximately one quarter of the populace have an annual household income of greater than $150,000, with 34% having incomes from $75,000-$150,000. Almost half of the Lantana population has a bachelor's degree or higher. In 2004, 2006, 2011 and 2012, Lantana won the People's Choice Award for Community of the Year at the Dallas Homebuilders Association McSAM Awards. Lantana hosts regular community events, such as outdoor music presentations in the parks, chili cook offs, festivals, picnics, and other similar functions for its residents. Lantana encompasses 1,780 acres (7.2 km2). It was developed starting in 1999 on land acquired from the Rayzor family (known as Rayzor Ranch). On March 16, 2000, Republic Property broke ground on the community. Larkspur and Sandlin were the first neighborhoods developed. The first residents moved in on July 31, 2001. In the first quarter of 2014, Forestar Group, Inc, an original equity partner along with Republic Property Group, acquired the remaining partnership interest in Lantana and continued the final development of the community.The homes in Lantana are built around an 18-hole golf course, designed by Jay Morrish. In October 2003, Lantana Golf Club became a semi-private facility. In October 2004, a 7,500 square-foot club house expansion was completed. The club went private in early 2009.The Lantana Community Association, Lantana's HOA, is managed by Insight Association Management. HOA dues cover, security monitoring and system installation, front yard maintenance, and amenities. The Board of Directors of the Lantana Community Association are: Tara Boswell, Christi Brownlow and Darrel Amen. The Association is currently in the process of transitioning over to a Resident Board of Directors after the reaching the community size the state of Texas requires to do so. Lantana's monthly Board meetings are open to the public and take place in the Bartonville Town Square. Residents who have individual concerns about their home or the community in general may present those items at the monthly meetings. Lantana residents pay an annual fee, through the Lantana Community Association, to the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD) for Fire and EMS service. The fee is based on the appraised value of each home and the rate charged by the AVFD. Lantana is located in Development District #4, Fresh Water Supply District #6 and Fresh Water Supply District #7. A Fresh Water Supply District (FWSD) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, authorized by the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality, to provide water, sewage, drainage and other services within the district's boundaries. The publicly elected Board of Directors manages and controls all of the affairs of the district, subject to the continuing supervision of the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality. The Board establishes policies in the interest of its residents and utility customers. A district may adopt and enforce all necessary charges, fees and taxes in order to provide facilities and service. Four of Denton ISD's schools are located within the community: Tom Harpool Middle School and Annie Blanton Elementary School, which opened in August 2008, Eugenia Porter Rayzor Elementary, which was the first school to be built and opened in August 2002, and Dorothy Adkins Elementary School, which opened in August 2014. Blanton and EP Rayzor elementary schools are rated "Exemplary" and the middle school is rated "Recognized." Lantana is served by John H. Guyer High School, located in southern Denton, TX, about 3 miles (4.8 km) north of the northernmost neighborhood (Madison). Lewisville High School - Killough Campus, previously referred to as Killough LHS - North, LHS-North or LHSN, is a high school in the Lewisville Independent School District in Lewisville, Texas. While the school has existed since the fall of 1997, the school district began construction of its current building in 2003. Prior to its current location, LHS-North operated at what was formerly Miliken Middle School, the current location of Delay Middle School, on Savage Lane. The current campus opened in the fall of 2005. At that time, the school was dedicated to retired LISD employee C. Douglas Killough (former principal at Lewisville High School and later assistant superintendent), and the name was formally changed to Killough Lewisville High School North. Killough LHS-North has been named to the "Just for the Kids" Honor Roll in 2005, 2006 and 2007, for its exceptional performance on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, or TAKS test. Killough LHS-North was featured in the December 2006 and December 2007 issue of Texas Monthly Magazine. In 2006 it was ranked as the #1 public high school in the state, for being a high performing school based on the National Center for Educational Accountability (formerly known as "Just for the Kids"). (The 2007 issue did not rank the top performing schools individually.) Based on Killough's exceptional performance on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, the campus received an exemplary rating by the Texas Education Agency in 2008–2010. Lewisville ISD converted the campus into a ninth- and tenth-grade school in 2012. The district also includes another ninth- and tenth-grade high school constructed in south Lewisville off of Round Grove Road, Lewisville High School - Harmon Campus. Collectively the two campuses could house over 2000 students, easing congestion at the newly renovated Lewisville High School (Main Campus). Killough also houses the LHS softball field used by the main high school.

The attraction includes Lego-theme rides, a soft play area, a 4D cinema and a gift shop. The center is owned and operated by British leisure group Merlin Entertainments.

Highland Village/Lewisville Lake station is an A-train commuter rail station in Highland Village, Texas. It is east of Interstate 35E at Garden Ridge Boulevard, and serves commuters from Highland Village and the Lewisville Lake recreational area.

Grapevine Mills currently totals over 1,781,628 square feet (165,518.7 square meters) in size. Grapevine Mills opened on October 30, 1997, and is one of the largest malls owned by The Mills platform of Simon Property Group. The mall features over 20 anchors and over 200 specialty retailers, as well as a variety of theme restaurants, casual dining and cutting-edge entertainment venues. Grapevine Mills is located within a major retail area just east of Lake Grapevine and two miles (3km) north of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. It has a racetrack floor plan and the AMC Dine-In Grapevine Mills 30.It is the second-largest mall in Tarrant County, Texas, with North East Mall being largest.
