Vestre Aker Church

Ring 2, sometimes called Kirkeveiringen and until 2010 officially known as National Road 161 (Norwegian: Riksvei 161), and now also officially County road 161 (Norwegian: Fylkesvei 161), is an important ring road and surface street through densely populated parts of Oslo, Norway.

Vestre Aker (Western Aker) is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It has a population of 50,157 as of 2020.The previous Aker Municipality was merged into the city of Oslo in 1948. The borough of Vestre Aker was organized as part of the 1 January 2004 reform. Previous boroughs Vinderen and Røa became part of the new borough of Vestre Aker. The borough of Vestre Aker does not correspond to Vestre Aker parish of the Church of Norway, that lies east of the borough. The borough of Vestre Aker belongs to Ris, Røa and Voksen parishes of the Church of Norway. Situated in the hillside west of the city centre, Vestre Aker is known for being one of the wealthiest parts of Oslo. Ready started playing in the Norwegian Bandy Premier League 2004–05 and has ever since. The borough consists of the following traditional districts of Oslo: Holmenkollen, the location of the Holmenkollen ski jump Tryvann Vinderen Røa Sørkedalen Smestad, Oslo Slemdal

Ullevål sykehus is a tram stop on the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located on the south-western side of Ullevål University Hospital, at the intersection of Sognsveien and Kirkeveien. The station opened on 1 August 1925 as part of the extension of the Ullevål Hageby Line to John Colletts plass. It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles.

Fagerborg Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Fagerborg videregående skole) was an upper secondary school near Majorstuen in Oslo, Norway in the borough of St. Hanshaugen. In addition to a university preparatory track, it had a track specializing in dancing and ballet. The upper secondary school was closed in 2014 after 99 years, and most programs and employees moved to the new Blindern Upper Secondary School. Since 2015 the buildings have housed a new public middle school named Fagerborg skole.

John Colletts plass (John Collett's Square) is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located in Ullevål Hageby in Nordre Aker borough, it was opened in 1925 as the terminus of the Ullevål Hageby Line. The name was given in 1938. In 1999 the line was extended to Rikshospitalet.The most prominent building at the square is the former Ullevål Cinema. It was closed as a cinema in 1964, but is now used for lectures at the University of Oslo. The university campus is located a few hundred metres west of John Colletts plass.

The National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention in Norway (NSSF) was established in 1996 as one of the national competence centers financed by the Norwegian Health Directorate, and is affiliated with the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo. The center has three main fields of work all meant to support the suicide-preventive work in Norway: research, dissemination of knowledge and counseling. NSSF runs, initiates and supervises research projects all over the country. Important tasks are also to disseminate research-based information through education and information activities, and to give advice to professional groups working on clinical and preventive projects.

Fagerborg is a neighbourhood in the St. Hanshaugen borough in Oslo, Norway. Located at the northwestern end of the borough, it is bounded by Majorstua in Frogner in the west, by Marienlyst in the north, by Adamstuen and Bolteløkka in the east, and by Bislett in the south.

It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles. North of Adamstuen, the Ullevål Hageby Line is a light rail.

Adamstuen is a neighborhood in the borough of St. Hanshaugen in Oslo, Norway. It is located south of Ullevål University Hospital. It is served by Adamstuen Station of the Oslo Tramway. In the Summer of 2009, the uber-hip Monocle magazine featured Thereses gate (running through the heart of Adamstuen) as Oslo's most unusual street.

The station opened on 1 June 1999 as part of the extension of the Ullevål Hageby Line to Rikshospitalet. It was formerly named Blindern nord. It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles.

Oslo University Hospital, Ullevål (Norwegian: Oslo universitetssykehus, Ullevål), formerly Ullevål University Hospital (Norwegian: Ullevål universitetssykehus) in Oslo, Norway is the largest of the four main campuses of Oslo University Hospital. It was opened in 1887, and was an independent hospital owned by Oslo municipality and then by the state until it became part of Oslo University Hospital in 2009. It is a Level I trauma center and includes patient treatment, research, teaching and administration activities. The headquarters of Oslo University Hospital is located at Ullevål. Oslo Heliport, Ullevål (ICAO: ENUH) is a helipad with a 30.55 meters (100.2 ft) diameter located on the top of a parking garage. It has a walkway to the emergency department. The helipad features a fuel tank.

Stensgata is a tram stop on the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located in Thereses gate in between of Adamstuen and Bislett, at the intersection of Thereses gate and Stensgata. It primarily serves a residential area. The station opened on 24 September 1909, when it became the stop before the terminus of the line, Adamstuen. It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles. North of Adamstuen, the Ullevål Hageby Line is a light rail.
