Fagerborg Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Fagerborg videregående skole) was an upper secondary school near Majorstuen in Oslo, Norway in the borough of St. Hanshaugen. In addition to a university preparatory track, it had a track specializing in dancing and ballet. The upper secondary school was closed in 2014 after 99 years, and most programs and employees moved to the new Blindern Upper Secondary School. Since 2015 the buildings have housed a new public middle school named Fagerborg skole.

Vestre Aker Church is a church at Ullevaal in Oslo that was consecrated in 1855. The church was at first named Aker Church, but was renamed to Vestre Aker Church in 1861. The church is built in Neo Gothic style, drawn by architect Heinrich Ernst Schirmer. After the last restoration in 1969 it has about 500 seats. The pulpit was drawn by Alexis de Chateauneuf about 1850, and did originally appear in Oslo Cathedral. Stained glass windows are made by Bernhard Greve, center field in 1939 and the side windows in 1955. The church has a church organ with 27 voices. The bell tower contains two church bells. By the church is Vestre Aker Cemetery that was inaugurated simultaneously with the church in 1855 and a parish house that was built in 1983.Vestre Aker Church is protected by law as a cultural monument, and has the number 85816 in the heritage data base of the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage.

Ullevål sykehus is a tram stop on the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located on the south-western side of Ullevål University Hospital, at the intersection of Sognsveien and Kirkeveien. The station opened on 1 August 1925 as part of the extension of the Ullevål Hageby Line to John Colletts plass. It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles.

Fagerborg is a neighbourhood in the St. Hanshaugen borough in Oslo, Norway. Located at the northwestern end of the borough, it is bounded by Majorstua in Frogner in the west, by Marienlyst in the north, by Adamstuen and Bolteløkka in the east, and by Bislett in the south.

Vestre Aker (Western Aker) is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It has a population of 50,157 as of 2020.The previous Aker Municipality was merged into the city of Oslo in 1948. The borough of Vestre Aker was organized as part of the 1 January 2004 reform. Previous boroughs Vinderen and Røa became part of the new borough of Vestre Aker. The borough of Vestre Aker does not correspond to Vestre Aker parish of the Church of Norway, that lies east of the borough. The borough of Vestre Aker belongs to Ris, Røa and Voksen parishes of the Church of Norway. Situated in the hillside west of the city centre, Vestre Aker is known for being one of the wealthiest parts of Oslo. Ready started playing in the Norwegian Bandy Premier League 2004–05 and has ever since. Adamstuen is a neighborhood in the borough of St. Hanshaugen in Oslo, Norway. It is located south of Ullevål University Hospital. It is served by Adamstuen Station of the Oslo Tramway. In the Summer of 2009, the uber-hip Monocle magazine featured Thereses gate (running through the heart of Adamstuen) as Oslo's most unusual street.

The National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention in Norway (NSSF) was established in 1996 as one of the national competence centers financed by the Norwegian Health Directorate, and is affiliated with the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo. The center has three main fields of work all meant to support the suicide-preventive work in Norway: research, dissemination of knowledge and counseling. NSSF runs, initiates and supervises research projects all over the country. Important tasks are also to disseminate research-based information through education and information activities, and to give advice to professional groups working on clinical and preventive projects.

John Colletts plass (John Collett's Square) is a light rail tram stop on the Oslo Tramway. Located in Ullevål Hageby in Nordre Aker borough, it was opened in 1925 as the terminus of the Ullevål Hageby Line. The name was given in 1938. In 1999 the line was extended to Rikshospitalet.The most prominent building at the square is the former Ullevål Cinema. It was closed as a cinema in 1964, but is now used for lectures at the University of Oslo. The university campus is located a few hundred metres west of John Colletts plass.

Stensgata is a tram stop on the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located in Thereses gate in between of Adamstuen and Bislett, at the intersection of Thereses gate and Stensgata. It primarily serves a residential area. The station opened on 24 September 1909, when it became the stop before the terminus of the line, Adamstuen. It is served by line 17 and 18, using SL95 low-floor trams, giving the station step-free access to the vehicles. North of Adamstuen, the Ullevål Hageby Line is a light rail.

The Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, Norway, is a music education institute founded in 1927 by pianist Mary Barratt Due and violinist Henrik Adam Due. It is situated in Fagerborg in Oslo and is a private foundation which receives government funding for parts of its activities. The institute provides music education for many age groups, including infants and children, school-aged adolescents, and undergraduate and postgraduate students.The institute's motto is "From music kindergarten to concert podium," which sums up the philosophy that constitutes the foundation on which their education system is built. Children receive musical training from an early age, and students are offered education on undergraduate and postgraduate levels, preparing them for the professional musical career and arena. This education model has enabled Barratt Due to establish itself as an important institution and contribute largely to the Norwegian classical music industry at least for the past three generations. Stephan Barratt-Due is the Barratt Due's artistic director, and leads the institute's ensemble-in-residence, Oslo Camerata.
