The Birds of Vermont Museum (BOVM) is a non-profit institution established in 1987 in Huntington, Vermont, United States. It was created to preserve and exhibit a collection of lifelike bird carvings for the purpose of educating people about the role of birds in the ecosystem. Today, the museum is surrounded by a 100-acre (0.40 km2) bird sanctuary and displays more than 495 biologically accurate woodcarvings created by Bob Spear, a Vermont naturalist and master woodcarver.

The Chittenden-4 Representative District is a one-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Chittenden-4 District includes all of the Chittenden County town of Richmond. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Chittenden-4 District had a population of 4,090 in that same census, 0.76% below the state average.

The Round Church, also known as the Old Round Church, is a historic church on Round Church Road in Richmond, Vermont. Built in 1812–1813, it is a rare, well-preserved example of a sixteen-sided meeting house, likely the only remaining example of its kind in North America. It was built to serve as the meeting place for the town as well as five Protestant congregations. Today it is maintained by the Richmond Historical Society and is open to the public during the summer and early fall, It is also available for weddings and other events. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1996 for the rarity of its form and its exceptional state of preservation.

The Skiing Cochrans are a family of American alpine ski racers from Richmond, Vermont, a dominant force on the U.S. Ski Team in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and again in 2000s, 2010s and 2020s.In 1961, parents Mickey and Ginny Cochran built a small ski area on their hillside property along the Winooski River in rural Vermont, the Cochrans' ski hill, where they trained their four children to be world-class ski racers. All four - Bob, Barbara Ann, Marilyn and Lindy - represented the U.S. in the Winter Olympics, with Barbara Ann winning the gold medal in slalom at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan. The next generation of Cochrans has continued the racing tradition, placing six family members on the U.S. Ski Team, while Cochran's Ski Area has grown into a local winter recreation area with three lifts and eight slopes attracting families from around Vermont.

Huntington is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Huntington, Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

The Richmond Congregational Church is a historic church at 20 Church Street in Richmond, Vermont, United States. Built in 1903-04, it is a significant local example of Colonial Revival architecture, designed by prominent Vermont architect Walter R. B. Willcox. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. The congregation is affiliated with the United Church of Christ; the minister is Rev. Katelyn Macrae.

Richmond is the primary village and a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Richmond, Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 853, out of 4,167 in the entire town of Richmond. The village is in eastern Chittenden County, in the north-central part of the town of Richmond. It is sited mainly on the north side of the Winooski River, with a small portion on the south side. U.S. Route 2 passes through the village as its Main Street, while Interstate 89 runs along the northern edge of the community, with access to the northwest from Exit 11 (Route 2). Both highways lead northwest 12 miles (19 km) to Burlington, the largest city in the state, and southeast 25 miles (40 km) to Montpelier, the state capital.

The Huntington Lower Village Church, also known historically as the Huntington Union Meeting House, is a historic church building at 2156 Main Road in Huntington, Vermont. Built in 1870, it is a fine late example of Greek Revival architecture. It now houses the Huntington Public Library and serves as a community center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Richmond Underwear Company Building is a historic industrial facility at 65 Millet Road in Richmond, Vermont. Built in 1900, it was the town's first major industrial facility, bringing an economic boom to the town. The factory was used for the manufacture of underwear until 1946, and has seen a variety of industrial and commercial uses since then. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Gray Rocks is a historic farm property on United States Route 2 in Richmond, Vermont. Developed in the early 19th century, it was in agricultural use until 1978, and has a well-preserved set of farm buildings dating from c. 1813 to the early 20th century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The M.S. Whitcomb Farm is a historic farm property on United States Route 2 in Richmond, Vermont. Established in the 1850s as a horse farm, it has seen agricultural use in some form since then. Its most distinguishing feature is a large bank barn with a monitor roof, built in 1901. The property, now 170 acres (69 ha), was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
