Gray Rocks is a historic farm property on United States Route 2 in Richmond, Vermont. The Skiing Cochrans are a family of American alpine ski racers from Richmond, Vermont, a dominant force on the U.S. Ski Team in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and again in 2000s, 2010s and 2020s.In 1961, parents Mickey and Ginny Cochran built a small ski area on their hillside property along the Winooski River in rural Vermont, the Cochrans' ski hill, where they trained their four children to be world-class ski racers. All four - Bob, Barbara Ann, Marilyn and Lindy - represented the U.S. in the Winter Olympics, with Barbara Ann winning the gold medal in slalom at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan. The next generation of Cochrans has continued the racing tradition, placing six family members on the U.S. Ski Team, while Cochran's Ski Area has grown into a local winter recreation area with three lifts and eight slopes attracting families from around Vermont.

As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 853, out of 4,167 in the entire town of Richmond. The village is in eastern Chittenden County, in the north-central part of the town of Richmond. It is sited mainly on the north side of the Winooski River, with a small portion on the south side. U.S. Route 2 passes through the village as its Main Street, while Interstate 89 runs along the northern edge of the community, with access to the northwest from Exit 11 (Route 2). Both highways lead northwest 12 miles (19 km) to Burlington, the largest city in the state, and southeast 25 miles (40 km) to Montpelier, the state capital.

The Richmond Underwear Company Building is a historic industrial facility at 65 Millet Road in Richmond, Vermont. Built in 1900, it was the town's first major industrial facility, bringing an economic boom to the town. The factory was used for the manufacture of underwear until 1946, and has seen a variety of industrial and commercial uses since then. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Richmond Congregational Church is a historic church at 20 Church Street in Richmond, Vermont, United States. Built in 1903-04, it is a significant local example of Colonial Revival architecture, designed by prominent Vermont architect Walter R. B. Willcox. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. The congregation is affiliated with the United Church of Christ; the minister is Rev. Katelyn Macrae.

The Round Church, also known as the Old Round Church, is a historic church on Round Church Road in Richmond, Vermont. Built in 1812–1813, it is a rare, well-preserved example of a sixteen-sided meeting house, likely the only remaining example of its kind in North America. It was built to serve as the meeting place for the town as well as five Protestant congregations. Today it is maintained by the Richmond Historical Society and is open to the public during the summer and early fall, It is also available for weddings and other events. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1996 for the rarity of its form and its exceptional state of preservation.

As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Chittenden-4 District had a population of 4,090 in that same census, 0.76% below the state average.

The Preston–Lafreniere Farm is a historic farm property at Duxbury and Honey Hollow Roads in Bolton, Vermont. Established in the early 19th century, it was operated by five generations of the Preston family through the 1990s. The property includes both a house and barn that date to the early 19th century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, and is subject to a conservation easement held by the state.
