John Wilder House

The Farrar-Mansur House is a historic house in Weston, Vermont built in 1797. It is within the boundaries of the Weston Village Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 29, 1985.

The Weston Village Historic District encompasses the town center and principal village of Weston, Vermont. Centered on Farrar Park, which serves as the town green, it includes a diversity of architectural styles from the late 18th century to about 1935, and includes residential, civic, commercial, industrial and religious buildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Along its course it flows through or along the boundaries of the towns of Weston, Londonderry, Jamaica, Townshend, Brookline, Newfane (where it collects the Rock River), and Dummerston to Brattleboro, where it flows into the Connecticut River.U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dams on the West cause the river to form Ball Mountain Lake and Townshend Lake, both of which were built for the purpose of flood control in 1961. The river between Ball Mountain Lake and Townshend Lake is used for white water boating during releases from the Ball Mountain Dam (usually occurring during one weekend in April and one weekend in September).

Weston Priory is a community of Benedictine monks who reside in Weston, Vermont. Founded in 1953, The Priory is situated within the confines of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington, which encompasses the entirety of Vermont. They are particularly known for the songs they have contributed to Roman Catholic worship over the past 50 years, their connection to Latin America, and the crafts produced at the monastery.

Terrible Mountain is a summit in Windsor County, Vermont, in the United States. With an elevation of 2,694 feet (821 m), Terrible Mountain is the 214th highest summit in the state of Vermont. Terrible Mountain was likely so named by early settlers due to its terrain.

As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 180, compared to 1,919 in the entire town. The CDP is in northwestern Windham County, in the northern part of the town of Londonderry. It sits in the valley of the West River, where it is joined from the north by Utley Brook. The West River is a south-flowing tributary of the Connecticut River. Vermont Routes 11 and 100 combine to form the village's Main Street. Route 11 leads east 14 miles (23 km) to Chester and west over the Green Mountains 15 miles (24 km) to Manchester Center, while Route 100 leads north 15 miles (24 km) to Ludlow and south 12 miles (19 km) to Jamaica.

Lowell Lake State Park is a day use state park on 102-acre Lowell Lake in Londonderry, Vermont. Activities includes hiking, non-motorized boating, fishing, picnicking, wildlife watching, and winter sports. There is an informal car top boat launch but no restroom or other facilities. The Lowell Lake Trail is a loop approximately 3.5 miles in length, which encircles the lake. Along the trail is a Revolutionary War-era cemetery.

Simons' Inn, also known more recently as Rowell's Inn, is a historic traveler's accommodation on Vermont Route 11 in Andover, Vermont. Built in 1826, it is a remarkably well-preserved example of a 19th-century stagecoach inn. It has for many years been a local community meeting point, serving as a general store and post office until 1950. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is now a private residence.
