Eschbach is a borough of Usingen in the Hochtaunuskreis in Hessen. The once almost entirely agriculturally based village at the northern edge of the Usinger Becken first appeared in 1280 in the County Cleeberg under the name of Ketteneschbach. The current district of Usingen was known far beyond the Taunus already early through good catering, later through the campsite in the forest and the former weekend-settlement below the Eschbacher Klippen.

Usingen is a small town in the Hochtaunuskreis in Hessen, Germany. Until 1972, this residential and school town was the seat of the former district of Usingen.

Christian-Wirth-Schule

Christian-Wirth-Schule (Christian Wirth School) is a secondary school located in Usingen, Germany. Originally established as a school of education (German historical designation: Lehrerbildungsanstalt für evangelische Seminaristen) in 1851, it was later renamed in 1922 to Christian-Wirth-Schule, named after the accomplished attorney at law, Christian Wirth, who resided in the area. CWS publishes its own independent newspaper called the Knorke. ("Knorke" is a German slang word comparable to modern day slang usage of the word "cool" in the English language which dates as far back as the 1920s.)

Baitul Huda Mosque, Usingen

The Baitul Huda (House of Guidance) in Usingen is a mosque in Germany run by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMJ) and was inaugurated on September 7, 2004, by Mirza Masroor Ahmad. Its two prayer rooms are 77 m2 each. The community in Usingen has 160 members. The mosque was partially burned in the morning of December 23, 2004. A lot of people of Usingen made donations for the reconstruction of the mosque. After the reconstruction a tree in the entrance was plant as a sign of friendship. The incendiarism never was clarified.
