Jiading Wetlands

Hunei District (Chinese: 湖內區; pinyin: Húnèi Qū) is a rural district in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.

The Hsinta Power Plant or Hsing-ta Power Plant (Chinese: 興達發電廠) is a coal-fired power plant in Yong'an District and Qieding District in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. With a total installed capacity of 4,326 MW, the plant is Taiwan's second largest coal-fired power plant after the 5,500 MW Taichung Power Plant (coal-generated power only). It is the oldest coal-fired power plant in Taiwan as of 2019 and was built 37 years ago without any prior air quality impact evaluation., making it notorious for polluting air quality in southern Taiwan for decades.

Qieding District (or Jiading; Chinese: 茄萣區; Hanyu Pinyin: Qiédìng Qū; Tongyong Pinyin: Ciédìng Cyu; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ka-tiāⁿ-khu) is a coastal suburban district in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Erren River (Chinese: 二仁溪; pinyin: Èrrén Xī; Wade–Giles: Er4-jen2 Hsi1) is a river in Taiwan. It flows through Tainan City and Kaohsiung City for 61 km. The river originates from the Neimen District in Kaohsiung City and flows through seven districts before it enters Taiwan Strait. The river has suffered from pollution, although the situation has improved.

Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science (CNU; Chinese: 嘉南藥理大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ka-lâm Io̍h-lí Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university in Rende District, Tainan City, Taiwan.
