EvilleCon is an annual three day anime convention held during March at the Old National Events Plaza in Evansville, Indiana.

The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library (EVPL) is a public library system serving Evansville and Vanderburgh County in Indiana, USA. The EVPL also supplements the services provided by the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation and has the authority to approve the tax levy of the independently run and operated Willard Library.The EVPL had a total circulation of 2,922,126 and had 1,842,085 in-person visits to its system in 2013, making it one of the largest public library systems in Indiana. EVPL was rated a five star library by the Library Journal, which places it in the top 1% of public libraries in the U.S. EVPL also obtained a Top Ten library ranking in the 2010 edition of Hennen's American Public Library Ratings, achieving a number eight ranking within its population category.

The Old National Events Plaza (formerly The Centre) is a 280,000-square-foot (26,000 m2) convention center and auditorium in Evansville, Indiana, United States, that consists of a 2,500-seat auditorium, a 38,000-square-foot (3,500 m2) exhibit hall, 14,000-square-foot (1,300 m2) ballroom, and 12 flexible 1,000-square-foot (93 m2) meeting rooms.The facility hosts small and medium-sized conventions ranging from 20 to 4,000 people. The auditorium is also frequently the site a variety of concerts and special events. Formerly known as Vanderburgh Auditorium, the building underwent a major renovation and expansion in the mid-1990s and was renamed the centre. The architects involved with the project included HOK Venue and Veazey Parrot & Shoulders.It is co-managed with the Ford Center, Mesker Amphitheatre, and Victory Theatre.

The Evansville Civic Center Complex is the location of all city offices for the City of Evansville and County of Vanderburgh, including the Evansville Police Department and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Department. The Vanderburgh County Courts System is in the Northeast Building. The EVSC headquarters is in the eastmost building. The complex is bounded by Sycamore Street to the northwest, SE Ninth Street to the northeast, Locust Street to the southeast and M.L. King Boulevard to the southwest. The address of the complex is One NW Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd, Evansville, Indiana. Construction was completed in 1969.

The Ford Center is a multi-use indoor arena in downtown Evansville, Indiana with a maximum seating capacity of 11,000. It officially opened in November 2011 and is mainly used for basketball, ice hockey, and music concerts. It is home to the Evansville Thunderbolts minor league hockey team in the SPHL and the Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team, representing the University of Evansville. The UE women's basketball team also played at Ford Center from the venue's opening, but moved its home games back to its campus starting with the 2017–18 season.

Firestone Tire and Rubber Store is a historic commercial building located in downtown Evansville, Indiana. It was built in 1930, and is a one-story, Art Deco style building. The building was originally built to house a Firestone Tire and Rubber Company outlet.: Part 1 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Parson and Scoville Building, also known as the Pasco Building, is a historic commercial building located in downtown Evansville, Indiana. It was built in 1908, and is a six-story, brick building. The building was originally built to house the warehouse of a wholesale grocery.: Part 1, p. 22 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Liberty Baptist Church is a historic African-American Baptist church located at 701 Oak St. in Evansville, Indiana. It was founded in 1865 as a congregation of former slaves, according to Historic Evansville. The Gothic Revival red brick church was built in 1887, as a replacement after a cyclone destroyed an earlier building.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Downtown Evansville is the central business district of Evansville, Indiana. The boundaries of downtown Evansville have changed as the city has grown, but they are generally considered to be between Canal Street at the south and east, the Lloyd Expressway to the north, Pigeon Creek to the northwest, and the Ohio River to the southeast south and southwest. Downtown Evansville is entirely within Pigeon Township. The district constitutes Evansville's government, cultural and business center. The Evansville Civic Center houses the administrative offices for the city and Vanderburgh County. Gemcraft–Wittmer Building, also known as Gemcraft, was a historic commercial building located in downtown Evansville, Indiana. It was built in 1892, and was a Late Victorian style building.: Part 1  It has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Conner's Bookstore, also known as Dallas Music, was a historic commercial building located in downtown Evansville, Indiana. It was built in 1865, and was a vernacular building.: Part 1  It has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Signature School is a charter high school located in downtown Evansville, Indiana on the Main Street walkway. The school opened in 2002 as Indiana's first public charter high school. It has been consistently ranked, by a number of publications, as one of the top high schools in the United States.
